If you were to look into the crowd and try to find a linebacker for your football team, Jacques would be the guy you picked. He's tall (6'4") and Bulky (255 lbs). Pure Muscle. He has jet black hair, and suffers from thick, jet black facial hair. He's had to shave since he was fifteen years old. Though uncommon in person, a very common trait amongst the Lazier males. Even though he's a district one citizen, to look at him you'd think him to be from a lower level district. His hair is usually never tamed, and he tends to wear simple tee shirts and simple jeans. He looks mean. Very mean. How mean he really is is to be determined. He's not horribly outgoing, and doesn't make a ton of friends. Most are deterred by his fierce appearance and never make any attempts to get to know him.

As far as his body is concerned, he is rarely seen without a shirt or long pants. Though it's not so bad really, there isn't a big patch of skin on his body that isn't riddled with scars. Over the years he's bruised, gashed, or broken just about anything he was able to. A lot of it was general roughousing, but he also served as a "training dummy" for each of his brothers as they prepared for the possibility of being sent into the Games. To look at his back, you'd see one massive, seven inch scar running along the left shoulder blade, and at least a dozen smaller knicks. The knicks covered a sizeable area of his stomach as well. His knees and shins, though devoid of serious scarring, were several different shades of skin, where he'd received so many bruises that the skin had stayed bruised.

Personality:

There are two sides to Jacques. The side that makes him lovable, and the side that makes him feared.

Lovable: He's a gentle giant most of the time. He's not loud by choice, though his deep voice does carry, and when he starts talking, the room usually listens. He tries to show compassion to others, though he is often unsure as to how to do so. He's a bit socially awkward, but the people who are around him usually do a pretty good job of ignoring that quirk, or at least not exploiting it. His awkwardness tends to lead to him being a bit of a loner. He doesn't have the social anxiety issues that a lot of people tended to have, he just preferred to be away from the group. It was never diagnosed or even spoken of, but he suffers from a somewhat mild case of claustrophobia. When too many other people start sharing his air, he takes the first opportunity he can to get away from them and into less crowded areas.

Feared: Jacques might possibly be the most competitive person in District One. If he can turn anything into a competition, he does. And he goes hard. It doesn't matter if it's just a race amongst family to see who can eat dinner the fastest, you'd think that he was going to lose the Hunger Games if he weren't done first. When he competes, he puts on a rather serious game face. This game face tends to inspire people to think he's going to eat them. Look it up.

History:

Jacques is the youngest of five children in a very lucky family. None of the family have been picked, or even considered as a tribute in the hunger games. Though it's a source of some ridicule amongst family friends, the family is very thankful that they haven't had to be concerned with the possible loss of any of their children.

As far as class is concerned, they're an average District One family. They really haven't done anything to distinguish themselves in any way, yet none in the family have done anything to bring shame to themselves either. The peacekeepers of District One probably don't even know of their family name. Good thing or bad thing to be determined.

Jacques personally is the most fierce of the Lazier siblings, and that simply because he's been battle hardened. He's had a particular interest in the Hunger Games since a very young age, since a sibling has been eligible since he was born. Though they'd never been close to being picked as the volunteer to represent their districts, their was still the realization that they could be there. He's also had to deal with four older brothers who were all very athletic and very strong, razzing and picking on the baby of the family. This has driven him to be the strongest and most fierce of the family.

In the grand scheme of things, he's had an extremely boring, almost "american dream" upbringing. Dont mistake that for him being a boring person though. He's just now branching out and becoming his own person, and he is evolving and growing each and every day.
