Gravel and dirt crunches and crumbles beneath my leather-clad feet as they lead me through a less desirable part of town. Just remember why you are here, Vinnie, my thoughts mumble as I straighten my tie soon all this formality will be forgotten and I can just release myself to my true self, my feral side. The building before me whispers a warning, go, leave this place and escape with your sanity, for all who enter are subject to its control, to its power. I am entering a mental institution under the premise of being hired to help out a particularly crazy patient. This job would normally have no benefit for somebody as prestigious as me, and this sort of client would, for the most part, be unable to afford my rather expensive services. But, I was feeling a little charitable today, and the girl I was here to visit wasn't that bad on the eyes, even if she was district scum. of course, in the eyes of society, I would be considered district scum as well, despite my homestead being the Capitol. My worn wooden cane drags faithfully at my side as I lean on it for support, my leg never fully healed from the attack the crazy bitch launched on me last year. Sometimes I remember my seventeen years of age and scoff, I'm too young for a cane, but it adds to my rogue-look. They think I'm weak, and they pity me. But I always win them over in the end as I lift their heavy bodies onto the bed beneath me. I am their thunder, and they are my wind. When I want to be, I am in control. Today would be no different. My "patient" was clinically insane, how could she possibly overtake me? Especially with the circumstance of my visit. Yes, she would be mine tonight. I lifted a bruised hand and knocked on the simple door, begging for entrance. A stranger lets me in and leads me through a series of hallways, before stopping in front of a dark door and opens it quietly. "Good luck." They mutter before scurrying off, obviously busy with the demands of some other patient. "Thanks," I grunt, but they're already gone. "Hello, beautiful." I murmur before slipping into the dark room and closing the door behind me with a soft click.

Hello, darling. I'd lost count of the days that I had spent in this bland place, brought into my own personal prison by my own parents. Well actually, that's a lie, they weren't really my parents, that was just a lie they told me at the beginning and than piled the lies on top of that one. They insist that it drove me insane, that information along with a nice bump in the head during my training in District 1. I mean sure, I would lock my "parents" in a room and force out information from them about exactly how I came to be in District 1 when my siblings were in District 12. I never hurt them though...much, I just wanted to hear the truth from them, was that so much to ask, to be told the friggin truth for once. So yeah, they heard about some crazy hospital in the Capitol and being the loving parents that they were decided that I should be taken there. Suffice to say I wan't happy about it, and neither were Liliana or Paine...my room mates in my head. Took them a while to get me into this god forsaken place, put up quite the fight. Here I am though, a prisoner, never seeing anything or anyone from outside...until today. Some idiot had been called to help loosen me up, get me to talk so to speak...because I've been a bad girl lately when we, all the inmates of this lovely place, get together. I won't go into the details though, suffice to say that my evil triplets Liliana and Paine wanted to play for a bit. That's my story so far, what brought me to this beautiful place I now call home. Kicking my legs up onto the head board of my bed I looked around my dark room. There was no point in turning on the lights, I knew my own room like the back of my hands, and I had sdjusted to seeing it anyways. After all, my room here was just like my room at my real home, supposed to make me fell better...yeah right. Anyways I looked about the room wondering what time it was, and when my "guest" would be here to "help me out". I heard the faint sound of footsteps coming down the hall, and than abruptly come to a stop outside my room. I hear the clicks of the multiple locks being undone on my door and the slight creak as it was opened. Than just as quickly the door is closed and the locks put back into place...my guest had arrived. Adjusting myself on the bed I flipped the switch next to my nightstand that bathed the room in full light. Before me stood a young man that I already had a bad feeling about. He looked like he was used to getting his way and not being contradicted...either I would need to let Paine handle this one or hope that he didn't do anything to provoke me otherwise this would get ugly fast. I didn't want to ruin my chance of seeming at least semi normal to people. "Welcome to my home, or rather my prison, my name is Glitter Paine Liliana Dewberry. You don't look like the type of person who would do something out of the kindness of your heart, no offense, so why are you here?" Swinging my legs over the side of the bed I rested my hands on my knees and looked the boy before me up and down. I smiled pleasantly at him I hoped that this would go smoothly. Part of me knew though...that something would go wrong, and he would meet the "other side" of me. lyrics

A thin smile motivated by a new challenge curls around my lips as I study my client. Her frame is thin, but not unhealthy (a nice change from the usual extra pounds of my typical, overfed customer). A mixed air of signals seems to surround her. A blend of meekness, anger, and...a hint of lust... radiates in everything from her bleach blonde hair to her dark lips to her miles of leg. Is this stranger used to getting her own way? My observations twist around themselves with each blink of her eyes. " You don't look like the type of person who would do something out of the kindness of your heart, no offense, so why are you here?" Words spill from her tongue as the girl introduces herself. She's a talker, that much I can already tell. I'm not sure what angle to take when working with her, so instead I choose to stare back intently as she releases her thoughts from the jumbled mess they seem to have formed in her head. "You know nothing of my heart..." My voice strains out in a tone not unlike the deep gravel-song intonation that my dearly beloved brother whispered to his ally during his final moments. It reflects everything. "Glitter" didn't understand my heart, but neither did I. What I assumed about my heart and motivation- gold wrapped in lust and power - turned out to be just an allusion as its fabricated nature crumbled into ashes with the reaping of a family member I had never imagined. A cough tears through my throat as my mind is torn back to the client before me. "Why am I here?" I whisper again, the smile falling from my face. "I think you ought to have figured it out by now, my dear Glitter...Lilliana...Paine." I nearly sing her name as I take a step closer to my soon-to-be theater. A bed seems to be the only stage I had mastered...but that would change soon enough, when the underground charisma I exercised finally bared its fruit into the right pockets of influence. The Capitol could be mine if I worked hard enough for it. I move the last few feet to her bed but don't invite myself into her space. 'Your clients wish is your command'. This has always been the biggest rule in my unspoken industry. Whatever this commoner desired would become my desire, at least for this moment. She would invite me into her sanctuary when she felt ready. Until then I only had to wait and watch.

Hello, darling. This guy was an odd one for sure, and coming from me that had to mean something...right? He comes to one of the crazy houses with an appointment to see me, and once he sees me he has this dumbfounded look on his face. Maybe it was to early to tell him my names name? I should have let him explain his visit more, or even introduce himself first...wait did he introduce himself though, maybe I just wasn't paying attention. I sifted through the few minutes that he had been here in my memory and came to the conclusion that he had infact NOT given me his name. Oh well, names were irrelevant here anyways, as soon as he left the room I wouldn't have another visiter for who knows how long, and chances were I'd forget my own name. What I did take notice of was his deep, gravely voice mumbling something to himself under his breath...and people had the nerve to tell me I was crazy. He took a few steps forward and neared my bed, something I hadn't been expecting, and I felt myself shy away from him. That tingle in the back of my head warned me that if he got any closer...or rather...if I got any closer that Liliana would have her way with our my guest. Better if I just stayed here, or anywhere, far away from my guest, at least as far away as I could get without actually leaving the room. Come to think of it...I was as good as a prisoner of this strange boy who mumbled to himself and failed to give me his name. I grabbed my head to stop it from spinning as one of my "housemates" struggled to have they're say in my thoughts. Liliana found this whole set up oh so perfect, prisoner to a boy, not a single window...and only one door...who would ever know what happened in here. Crawling to the foot of my bed I drew my knees up to my chest and stared at the boy, the pounding and throbbing in my head never stopping. "I'm not crazy you know, people say I am but I'm really not, I just know things I'm not supposed to, I know secrets. I was put here because I know things...and if I'm all locked up in here I can't tell anyone...I'm not crazy...I'm not." I looked at him quizically trying to decide the best course of action, should I invite him to sit down or would I appear to forward...not to mention the fact that Liliana might join the party if I did. If he just sat down on his own though I ran the risk of Paine rearing her ugly head. There was no way to appease all aspect of my personality, no decision I ever made all of me happy. I bit down on my lip and glanced back up at him and then the corner of my bed that I could, under normal circumstances, offer to him. "So ummm, why don't you take a seat...no no no don't take a seat...I mean make yourself comfortable my room is your room now. Wait no, that's not right this isn't your room this is our room, I mean my room...I mean...I don't know what I mean anymore."I hid my face in my hands and tried to regain some of my composure and sanity, maybe I really was crazy. We'll have to see what my house guest thinks though, he seemed to believe I knew why he was here, but the truth of the matter is I had no idea, so unless he told me I wasn't going to say another word to him. lyrics

My thoughts slipped from their incessant hold as the girl reacted to my presence in a variety of odd ways. She seemed torn between wanting to welcome me to my throne of her bed and to wanting me to just disappear. My confident assurance fell for a giants-breath as I realized she had no idea the reason for my presence. Well this was certainly is a new scenario. I pondered as the girl studied me awkwardly. Should I introduce myself? yeah right, that'd be a difficult introduction Hi my name is Vincent Taylors and I'm the prostitute the people who locked you up hired to loosen you up a bit. Except I'm probably as crazy as you after everything I've been through, so I don't know how effective I'm going to be... Oh well, here goes. Nope, definitely could not tell her that. But secrecy opened up a door I really had not expected. It brought me possibilities, and perhaps secrets was the key to her heart. It was worth a try, at least. "How ironic, my dear Glitter. Secrets have brought me here as well." I kneel by her bed as I consider her invitation to not sit down. A loud cracking sound radiates around the room as my legs protest to this exertion, and I try not to wince. Did she want me to play the hopeless card? Only time would tell, I supposed, but that often opened up many of my clients to the relief they so desperately desired. Oftentimes it took only the right angle to enchant a heart. "Now, tell me...Glitter, what is the first thing that someone holds as precious? What do people generally share with each other upon their first meeting?" I look her square in the eye and try to read her thoughts. Did she realize my first secret? The thing I had refused to reveal? "You cannot tell a secret unless you are asked, Glitter. Liliana. Paine...so ask me."

Hello, darling. Was it normal for one to feel so out of place in their own "home", because that was exactly how I was feeling right now. Suddenly the atmosphere in the room felt foreign to me, I couldn't understand why I was here, or why this guy was in my room. Why the hell did he want to see me, no one ever wanted to see me? I was left here to die basically by my "loving" parents, so why in the world would someone of his apparent standing in society lower themselves to visit some girl that was labeled legally insane. Unless of course that was why he was here...because I was insane...because he wanted to see first hand WHY they called me insane. Well he was in for a rude awakening, thus far I had done a good job keeping us myself in check, I was in complete control of everything, and that was how I liked it. Of course this strange boy had to go and ruin it all by talking in that raspy voice of his. Every time his voice reached my ears I felt a dull throb in my head as Liliana strove to make herself known to him. Calling me dear did little to improve the situation in my head, and the dull throb escalated to a full on beating. I myself wanted to shrink as far away from him as possible, all of my senses screaming that this boy was not to be crossed, that he was way out of my league. Then of all the things he could have done, of all the foolish and stupid things he could have done he knelt beside my bed. I bit down hard on my lip and struggled with Liliana myself, trying to keep a level of sanity that would inevitably crumble. His cracking joints appealed to my humane side though, the kind side of me, and I couldn't help but want to invite him onto the bed. There was his voice again though, that hauntingly deep voice, that seemed to fill the room. He was asking me what the first thing is that people hold most precious, what they share upon their first meeting. The answer was obvious to us me, of course it was a name...but we I had already given him my name...so did he want me to ask him his name? Then he appealed to us me by addressing me by all my names, something that made Liliana surge into my mind, the mere mention of her name made her jump to the front of my mind. I physically jerked back from the sudden shock of her forcing her way into my mind, and then just as quickly as it had happened I felt shut out...this was Liliana's time...she was ready to play. Suddenly he was no longer just a visitor to me but a plaything, something that could take our my mind off of this hellhole I live in. I shifted my weight and rolled to one side of the bed, laying on my stomach, and turned to face him with a mischievous smile flitting across my face. "There are a great deal of things that one would hold precious, such as purity, innocence, kindness...I don't think you mean any of those things though. They definitely don't pertain to the thing that most people share upon their first meeting...so that leaves me with only one answer. I leaned in, my face hovering close to his, before I whispered into his ear. "I think that you mean a name...and unless I'm mistaken you would also like to take a seat...you seem...tired. I pecked him quickly on the cheek before rolling away from him, a small laugh escaping my lips as I patted the space on the bed beside me, inviting him into my home. lyrics
