Originally was going to post this after the games or after I finished Lestia's bio, but I have too much muse ok so here ya go merry christmas:

The moment people first began to notice everything wasn't exactly "right" with the Mercurys was the moment the head of the family put a bullet through his mouth. Mr. Mercury left his family with millions to inherit, but abandoned them with a mother who's gone slightly crazy ever since, and a batch of traumatized children who were forced to raise themselves. Although each sibling couldn't oppose each other more in character, personality, and virtues - an inner connection of a shared tragedy tightly knits them all together.

Lestia Mercury - 16, female [reserved for Chelsey]
Lestia Mercury is dreaming. Or, at the very least, she thinks she is. Devoting her entire existence to waking herself up, she'll do anything to get a surge of heated adrenaline pumping through her veins. (This desire often putting herself in life-risking situations. But, she doesn't particularly mind or care since this is all a dream after all.) It's hard for her to decipher between what's real and what's not real, and she has given up on the aching task. She refuses to grow attached to anyone, believing everything and everyone she meets is just some figment of her imagination. A cloak of fairy like and ethereal silence usually settles upon her - she's too caught up in her daydreams makeshift realities too bother speaking - but occasionally one "figment of her imagination" could elicit a smile, laugh, or speech from her lips.

Ezra Mercury - 18, male [reserved for Elegant]
Ezra Mercury is by far the genius of the family that his father had ever aspired to be. A crazy insomniac who spends his nights up painting, his head's crammed with knowledge of mathematics, science, and architecture. Some say he's too smart for his own good, which is probably a saying he's tired of hearing. On the nights when even painting can't sooth his frantic nerves, he buries himself under the leather bound books left behind in his father's study. Although sometimes a bit too prideful of his elite status and knowledge, the compassion he possesses for his family is undoubtedly unlimited. When things first began to go wrong, he was the first to get his family back on track.

Delilah Mercury - 17, female [reserved for Python]
Obsessed with money, power, and - basically - herself. She's terribly beautiful and knows how far her beauty can take her, then uses it to her advantage. More often than nought, she's a selfish spoiled brat who enjoys playing the victim when she truly knows that the real criminal is her. Lies are easily woven off the tip of her tongue, complete with an eloquent voice and batting eyelashes. If someone, however, somehow resists her charm, she'll be sure to have them punished in one way or another - and'll enjoy watching every single second of that downfall. Based off the Bible character.

Matthias Mercury - 17, male [reserved for Cass]
When Mr. Mercury first brought the newborn baby home, he told his suspicious wife that he'd found the child in a dumpster and didn't have the heart to leave him out in the cold. She accepted his lie, but some say that Matthias really is Mr. Mercury's child, only, just not his wife's. The half brother grew up to be raunchy and reckless, spending his pastimes with a crowd who strives off of drug dealing and alcohol. He's a favorite among the ladies of Three, but no single girl has yet to keep a grab on him. Matthias is easily bored and distracted, but is also easy to pick a fight with especially with anyone who even dares say a word against his family. He's been in trouble with the law in more than one situation, but, with his wealth and "high" social status, can smuggle his way out of almost any trouble.

Laurence Mercury - 16, male [reserved for Shrimp]
Although Laurence is Lestia's fraternal twin, they couldn't be more of opposites. He's ever grounded to his reality, and is the walking definition of a "realist." Every single step he takes is a cautious one, every glance towards the outside world petrified, every move well thought out and reasoned. Tragedy has transformed this once innocent boy into someone who thinks he understands the cruelty of the world, and is determined to salvage himself from it's wreckage before it could destroy him, too. However, even if he's accepted his reality, it doesn't particularly mean he has to like it.

Minerva Gypsy Covella-Mercury - 15, female [reserved for Tattletale]
Began eight years ago when the Mercuries found her wandering around the road on a rainy night. "Where ya from, child?" "Dunno." "Where ya heading?" "Dunno." "You got a name?" "Dunno. Maybe." "Well, well. 'Til then we'll just call you Gypsy, now won't we? Hop in, child, we'll give you a place to stay." She's been a sister ever since. Although no one knows it (and she absolutely refuses to speak of her old family), she came from a family who practiced witchcraft - which she still actively practices herself behind closed doors. Her maternal mother, however, was burned at the stake for their family's actions, and Gypsy ended up running away while her twin sister ran in the opposite direction. Now, separated and lost from her twin, she lives in her own world, where silence dominates most of her time - but she's still swift to be angered and holds long grudges. She doesn't easily trust others since she knows other people shouldn't so easily trust her, either. She's deceiving, misleading, and knows exactly what she's capable of. Although she truly does care for her fostered family, it doesn't mean that one day she might run away from them, too.

Damion Mercury - 15, male [reserved for Zoë]
Everyone thinks he's a rebellious delinquent who steals and talks to an imaginary friend, but really, he's just bargaining with the devil. He's utterly convinced a demon lives inside him and torments him to do bad things everyday to save either his life or his family's lives, and is left with no other option but to obey the devil's commands. Often bitter, dark, intimidating, and closed off from the rest of the world, he spends most of his time locked up in his bedroom - too scared of others and too scared of what havoc he himself could cause them. Instead, he's left with that voice inside his head (that sounds an awful lot of what his father used to sound like) to speak to, and, somehow, has become a tiny bit attached to the parasite that resembles his deceased father.

Teresa Mercury - 14, female [reserved for Loren]
Teresa is scared of natural disasters. Floods, earthquakes, hurricanes, and storms rattle every atom of her being with an undeniable and uncontrollable wave of fear. She prefers the sanctuary the walls of her spacious home provides, but doesn't mind a peek or two behind the sheer curtains of her bedroom every once and so often. What she sees, she doesn't like. The outside world is too dirty, and much too corrupt.

Otis Mercury - male, NPC
Found in a pool of his own blood after 2 weeks of the birth of his last child, a gun in his hand. No note, no explanation - nothing. He wasn't particularly the best of fathers, usually a volatile and angry man who was too engrossed with his work to notice anything or anyone else. That work's payed off, though, after his death. Millions of dollars are left in his safe, with still millions for his family to luxuriously survive off of.

Annora Mercury - female, NPC
She was never a mother who lived to please her children, but was always a wife who lived to please her husband. Many in the district gossiped that the black and blue hues that sometimes covered her arms and (occasionally even) her face were from the unmanageable fists of her husband, but, still, in public and private she gazed upon him lovingly and with adoration. When he killed himself, she almost followed suit, but the neighbors who feared for the goodwill of the Mercury children locked her up in some asylum for a few months before she was allowed to come back - only crazy as ever. She doesn't talk much, anymore, only laughs. Occasionally, the name Otis slips through her lips.

FIRST CHOICE: EZRA MERCURY
SECOND CHOICE: UM
WHY: IDEK WHAT YOU REALLY MEAN BY WHY. BUT THE WHY OF THE MATTER IS THAT I'VE NEVER MET A GENIUS AND I SUPPOSE I'D LIKE TO. A boy with so many ideas has got to have something, something volatile that he can hold in his hands and say that it makes sense. But he also loves to paint? So what is he? An artist? A scientist? Both? Where does he fit into the fragments of the mercury's lives? He loves his siblings, almost too much some say. Always willing to do anything for them. He knows that he's smart, but that doesn't mean they always have to tell him. He follows the intricities of a line of prose into the depths of night until morning light sweeps across his eyes. He can stay up all day completing an equation. When you're the top of the class however, it becomes impossible to not want to stay there. Although a lot of it comes very easy to him, he works hard to maintain his marks. He worries about all his siblings, all of them, to the point of obsession. He could do so much, but all he wants is to read books, to study, to become a doctor, to help his mother and his brothers and sisters.

He feels strangely responsible for the downhill turn his family has taken, as the eldest child, as the man of the house. Sometimes the thought of what is happening all around him has a tendency to send him into small little stand stills, little things, moments he has to be snapped out of. Otherwise he's like the little engine that could, always climbing, always bettering himself.

HOW YOU SEE THE CHARACTER/HOW YOU GONNA WRITE THE CHARACTER: Idek what this means, do you mean first person? Third person? If you mean terms of outlook, his would be fairly positiv, but very realistic. He knows what he's dealing with, but he also believes he can change things.

SECOND CHOICE: Gypsy Murcury

WHY: Currently, I play a character who has many fears as well. I see Teresa as being slightly selfish for her own good and believing that to get things done, she must do them herself. Even though she confines herself to a small space, she has a mind that turns fast, she will come up with outrageous ideas to get something done. Even for simple things, such as wanting candy, she gets one of her other siblings to do it. Its better for her to have the others enduring the dangers of the world than her, right? Pure little Teresa, doesn't know what to do with herself. Locked up in a tower forever, a queen of a non-existing kingdom.

Even so, she accepts that life has to go on. Occasionally, she'll look to the outside world and see the grungy streets that mock her, the clouded air that chokes her through plastered walls. Her emaciated figure, a silhouette to the people on the streets. The thought of breathing in anything but pure air repulses Teresa, she is obsessed with keeping everything clean. Even a small mess will frighten her and it will have to be cleaned up immediately. She has to wash her hands before she eats anything and will commonly be seen at the sink multiple times a day. Her hands have become blistered and raw from the constant scrubbing, she hardly notices though. To her, it is life and life should be taken care of properly.

HOW YOU SEE THE CHARACTER/HOW YOU GONNA WRITE THE CHARACTER: She'll be a perfectionist in every way, ocd to a point of even more perfection. Everything has to sparkle and shine. Nothing can have dust on it, she will purify the world.

FIRST CHOICE: GYPSY COVELLA-MERCURY

WHY: BECAUSE. Gypsy is a girl that likes to keep secrets, her whole world is wound around secrets that she has buried herself under ever since she was a child. When her mother started witchcraft and dragged them into it, she was bound by a secret to tell no one. But her mother must have let it escape because she was burned and killed for her practice. That was when Gypsy realized just how precious her secret was and from then on that helped her to keep every truth and lie from ever escaping her lips. She bound them shut with a few words of her own, promising herself she would tell no one of her past. When she came to district one she found people who cared for her, a family. She had never felt such warmth and welcoming, even when she told them not even one little bit about herself.

But still deep in her mind her mother's teachings take control and she always feels the urge to practice witch craft. Not only that but her twin sister, the girl she never wants to talk about haunts her. She knows that if she ever saw her sister she would hurt her,she would not let her sister escape her untouched. And yet the warmth she feels for this new family is foreign to her, she has never felt this way for anyone before., And even though she is bound by a long time secret and ancient words she does wish she could talk them, even when her heart tells her know. And she knows she must follow her heart, because is she doesn't she could end up like her mother.

Her silence is like a plague and it often spreads around a room when she enters. She doesn't speak, but perhaps the truth as to why she never speaks is because she just doesn't know how to, she doesn't know how to get her words to slip from her locked lips. She is determined and head strong and even though she will never speak of her life and her past she is willing to move on wards, with parts of her history dragging her backwards, and she doesn't fight it because she needs them there, to remind her and tell her about herself and what she does.

HOW YOU SEE THE CHARACTER/HOW YOU GONNA WRITE THE CHARACTER: ugh stupid computer, why you delete everything I write?

I see her headstrong and independent, but there is a fragile depth to her, as to why she never speaks and maybe it is to her all about cracking her open and finding what is on the inside, why she is why she is.

WHY: Because wow he's a little bit like McCartney not drawing attention to the fact he isn't finished or anything what? except much, much darker. I love your idea that his demon sounds like his father, I think that's be really fun to write and explore as his character develops.

HOW YOU SEE THE CHARACTER/HOW YOU GONNA WRITE THE CHARACTER: There's always one child in every family that fears straying too far away from the nest. In the Mercury clan, Damion is this one hatchling who preferred the warmth of his mother's broken wings to the big, bad world, and his big, bad father's fury. However, this seemed almost abnormal to Otis, even though Annora seemed to appreciate the boy's undemanding company, who tried to make reason for why Damion was so afraid of going outside. Otis came to the conclusion that it must be some sort of allergy, a reaction to the particles in the air or in the water or in the earth that meant that it physically hindered Damion to be away from his parents. Perhaps Otis wanted him away so desperately because he felt somewhat uncomfortable causing his wife harm in front of a young child? There was always something so honest and vulnerable in Damion's eyes, something so independent and free, that his father felt indecent being, well, himself, around him.

At first, he tried to coax Damion into taking the many varieties of medication he got for him. Multiple times, the boy had to be taken to intensive care and cleansed of the high quantities of allergy and disease drugs coursing through his body. Damion began to develop a paranoia that something was wrong with his body that caused him to reject the drugs, but didn't want to take them anymore. He couldn't, and his mother couldn't keep him safe from it for much longer. That was when Otis began to be forceful with the boy, (I have a Shining-esque "Take your medicine you little shit" scene buzzing about in my brain, as well as all manner of ungodly methods of administration) but still nothing could make him leave his mother. In fact, his once rational agrophobia turned into a fully fledged fear that there was, indeed, something outside that would harm him, with even enough power to match the harm that his father was doing to him.

When Otis died, instead of feeling the salvation that Damion had hoped for, his fear of the strange world outside increased again. Now, with his mother weak and insane, the only thing that could protect him from the monsters outside were locked doors. His fear of what he might do to other people is connected to the potentially contagious manner of his "disease", and his fear is so intense that he has started to lose his mind, too. -gasps with exhaustion-

WHY: Because omg this boy<3 Who doesn't enjoy the challenge of playing with a twisted mind? This kid certainly has a lot of literal demons twisting his thoughts, his days spent in a waking nightmare full of pounding headaches brought on by a head full of ghosts that are too terrifying to name. I'd love to be the one to bring him to life. Just yes.

HOW YOU SEE THE CHARACTER/HOW YOU GONNA WRITE THE CHARACTER: A boy that lives in constant fear of himself and the thing festering inside him, the creature that crawls through his veins and whispers poisonous words into the terror-stricken haze of his mind. His room is dark, as he only allows the flickering light of candles to illuminate the dark leather covers of the books that clutter his quarters, countless bibles and titles like Satanism: Guide to Black Magic and Defeating the Occult: Expelling Demons glittering in the candlelight despite the constant temptation to lock himself in his room and burn the whole thing to the ground and just end it.

A part of him hates the demon inside of him and the harm it could make him do to his family, hours spent trying to cleanse himself of it with the sharp edge of a razor-blade and bible verses muttered under his breath in desperate attempts to keep himself from doing something that he wouldn't ever be able to forgive himself for. But there are times when the voice is just too loud and the temptation too strong and he feels like he needs the monster that terrorizes his every waking moment (and often his dreams as well), giving in to the sound of his father's voice and letting it fill him, as if it were his drug. There's just something about giving up, about allowing the demon to consume him and the strange and very much temporary peace that comes with it, that he just can't live without. During these times he'll do unspeakable things- the remains of neighborhood pets stuffed in a large, well-concealed cooler in the basement are a testament to that- and it's not until after he manages to get a grip on himself that the guilt and self-loathing gnaw at him and fuel the depression that hangs over his mind like a poisonous fog.

But he wasn't always like this. On the contrary, he was a very docile child, timid, cautious yet curious and innocent and pure in every way. Maybe his father thought he was weak, or perhaps he was didn't like how he practically hung onto his mother at all times. The fact of the matter is, he verbally abused the boy to the point that Damion began to hate himself. He constantly sought his father's acceptance, desperate for the love he so craved, all the way up to the moment when Otis Mercury put the barrel of a gun between his lips and fired.

But his father's sneering taunts and demands for obedience didn't end there, and neither did Damion's quest for his approval. He lives for the voice inside his head, terrified of it and what it makes him do but desperate for it and dependent on it at the same time, as it's the only way to please his father. He can't seem to decide if he should rid himself of it and keep the rest of his family safe, or if he should just give in to the temptation and let it consume him.

WHY: Okay, so Matthias because he just reminds me of all I want to be and + LOCTHE = WIN. But actually, I feel like this plot is so great and well thought out (/for realz) that it'd be a great way - along with Nano- to get me back into rping again. Besides, don't you think that Matthias is literally the perfect person for a Lochte play by? I do.

Also, more importantly, drugs and alcohol and tons of women, that's like Spesh. Well, it's like what Spesh wants to be - the drugs, so it's the perfect opportunity! And in reality, I feel like his character is one of the few that I'd still find some muse for and be able to write on command.

No, seriously.

HOW YOU SEE THE CHARACTER/HOW YOU GONNA WRITE THE CHARACTER: Well, I see him kinda like the unloved half brother who the mom hates (Jon Snow?) and is kinda liked by some of the family, but not others. Because he is a half-brother / not, that's kind up in the air, he has no problem hitting on the girls /yolo. It doesn't work of course, they're too classy for the bastard boy.

I feel like he'd be good at mechanics and stuff, but he pretends to not care about them because he truly does hurt on the inside because he is a bastard/orphan/whatever. And the simple fact that he doesn't know eats away at him....

He tries to put this all on the back burner - and fails - because he just wants to enjoy drugs, dirty dancing, and sex. Oh, and a bunch of that drank - call up triple A / glozell.

How I'd write him is basically an outgoing person who just puts up a facade to make himself look like he has no issues and really loves life, but on the inside is just questioning the hell out of everything and really isn't sure.

WHY: Well see everyone always plays those BAMF characters and I can't do that. Teresa is like perfect for me because I'm good at writing conserved, careful and cowardly characters, and she falls into each of those categories. I really like her and it'd be fun to write her and be in this plot. ALSO ALSO ALSO I want her because she's like amazing your idea for her is perfect and really it's genius and different.

HOW YOU SEE THE CHARACTER/HOW YOU GONNA WRITE THE CHARACTER: Well see she is kind of a perfectionist, but she doesn't make too much of a mess in the first place, so there's nothing to clean up. Her dad killed himself two weeks after her birth, so she feels like it's her fault, and she's embarrassed to see her siblings sometimes because maybe they all blame her. She will be a goody-too-shoes idek how to spell it okay but that's because she never does anything in the first place. She will be a stargazer because everything is so peaceful and clean up in the sky while down here kids are killing each other and people are dying. OH yeah she'll write poetry about flowers and the color pink and fluffy clouds! She's a lot more snobby than people would expect, but she's snobby in that "she gets everything she wants because she never wants" way. Definitely the hermit of the family because ew germs ew people ew boys ew girls. If she were to look up to anyone in the family, it'd be Laurence because he's the most real, and realizes the world isn't as perfect as it seems. A germophobic and maybe she'll always wear those gloves or use hand sanitizer like have the clip on her pants lol.

I think that he should be this laid back guy who is in it for the fun, not really worrying about the outcome of his action. He lives in the moment. He is fericly protective of his family, after all if it wasn't for them he would even be a live. He is a flirt. He loves to flirt and to get girls attention, but he is not looking for a long and stable relationship, he is just looking for someone to muck around with for a while. he is not the feel/ soft type, not the person who feels sorry for himself. If someone has done something to annoy him or hurt him, they will know about it...
