Unlike some of the more notorious District 1 families, the most notable feature of the Rex household is its size. Though they're slowing down as they've grown older, the wealthy Mr. and Mrs. Rex have kept a steady flow of children coming into their house. The thirteen Rex kids, all in career training except for the toddler, have a tendency to pair up by age, creating both intense rivalry and deep camaraderie.

I've tried not to outline the characters too much or go into any sort of detail with plots and whatnot because I want you guys to have free reign with them. If you don't like what I've got, go ahead and tell me how you see the character. For the most part I'll be pretty flexible with names too if you have a better suggestion.

[Aya] Tigirius 'Tiger' Rex (M) (18) — physically gifted but mentally lacking and he knows it. Charismatic, something of a father figure to the chilluns. Especially for a Career, Tiger has a very big heart.

[Lulu] Leonidas 'Leo' Rex (M) (17) — a very talented thinker; good at the physical aspects of Career-dom, but truly excels at being clever.

[Windy] Tarquin Rex (M) (16) — Though neither Tarquin nor his twin could truly be categorized as mellow, Tarquin is certainly a great deal calmer than Tyrannus. His twin often teases him for having no sense of humor, which is true, for the most part; Tarquin takes most things very seriously and tends to be down-to-earth.

[Elegant] Tyrannus Rex (M) (16) — Not mellow, you guys. He's got a dark sense of humor and likes to play practical jokes, all of which are very well-planned and most of which are fairly cruel. Of all the Rex children, Tyrannus is decidedly the most... well, out there. Twin to Tarquin. His middle name has to be Horus, you guys, because Tyrannus Horus Rex.

[Clover] Willow Rex (F) (16) - only nine and a half months younger than Tarquin and Tyrannus. Somewhat snarky, incredibly competitive. Is pretty sure that girls can do anything better than guys. Usually points to District 1's recent tributes as examples. Probably a lesbian.

[Kay] Vertigo Rex (F) (15) - Somewhat prissy. Very flexible. Often accuses her brothers of going into the room she shares with Raja. A bit of a guy-chaser. Keeps a diary.

[OPEN] Oedipus 'Eddy' Rex (M) (14) - Cougar meat. Goes after older girls, 18+ mostly.

[OPEN] Tigris Rex (F) (13) - Idolizes Tiger, tries to tag along with him a lot. Gets easily annoyed with Russet.

[Kire] Russet Rex (M) (12) - Disorderly and unruly, for the most part. A bit of a loudmouth. Lacks tact.

Younger Rexes: GIRL Rex (11), GIRL Rex (9), GIRL Rex (6), BOY Rex (3)

These are sort of auditioned parts, so if you'd like one, please tell me who and give me a couple sentences about how you see them, like an outline sort of thing.

Guy chaser is just the starting point. Vertigo has her sights set on greater things - on famous things. People, actually. She's more self-aware than others would give her credit for (or her mouth would belie) and she's already fully aware that being a trophy wife is the only way she's going to be able to maintain her lifestyle. Well, that or win the Games, but given her lineup of siblings, her chances seem pretty dim. Raja would definitely kick her ass if Vertigo got reaped. But the point is: Vertigo doesn't just train because she's a competitive Career. She trains because it makes her young body limber, supple, desirable. She's too young and impressionable to have really decided what sort of person she wants to pair up with, so long as they keep her in the latest fashion and hair products. She'd probably kick a few perks Raja's way, maybe, if she wasn't so clever all the time. Vertigo's diary is full of her snark and how much it hurts and how much she envies her sister. She's probably the only one in the family, though. Most of her brothers and sisters have better things to worry about. Like going through her black underwear draw.[/size][/ul]

Oedipus 'Eddy' Rex

Oedipus, a lover of older woman of course. But I think he also is jealous of them. He also thinks that D1 woman are much smarter then the average men. Since he is not the brightest of the bunch, he just really wishes that he could have the intelligent of older woman. But he is only dumb in school events. While he is one of the smartest in where to pick up older woman, like finding the best clothes shop or food markets. And how to make him look much older. Standing up straigher, talking in a deeper voice, sometimes even resorting to makeup. He can make bruises and cuts on his skin with makeup to pick up the girls who like tougher guys. He gets in trouble alot with sneaking out at night and hanging out with the wrong crowd. He thinks he is much older then how old he really is.

Tarquin Rex
Tarquin isn't chill. He isn't serene or calm. However, there is a level of control in him that Tyrannus simply doesn't possess. Tarquin holds back a lot, whether it be emotions or his cruelty or his power. That doesn't mean it isn't there. The facade of indifference and down-to-earth behavior that he is known for is a wall between his inner toil and his outer appearance. Inside, he is one and the same as Tyrannus. He simply knows how to control the urge to pull cruel jokes on the younger kids in the family. You could say he has a bit more of a heart. He never seems to put his all into training either, but that's because he's a little bit afraid of himself because of his brother. His brother is the physical reflection of him. By seeing his brother's brute force and callous behavior, he sees all that he could become but doesn't wish to reach. He wants power and to be feared, in a sense, but does not wish to become the monster that he sees his brother becoming little by little. He's prone to the occasional outburst, usually only witnessed by Tyrannus himself. Despite his mixed feelings of disgust and companionship with his brother, they're still twins. No matter how much he compares and contrasts them, he'll never find someone who gets him quite like Tyrannus.

Tyrannus is a borderline sociopath. He doesn’t feel sympathy, empathy, or any other –pathy (unless it begins with an a). He hates people. He thinks they are dumb, and rude, and obnoxious, and he feels as if he is a on a higher plane than them all. He knows he is. He likes to belittle them, and make them feel stupid. And since he is very analytical and intelligent, saying snarky comments just doesn’t cut it. He likes to humiliate them, and punish them for not being as brilliant as him all in one swoop. He enjoys doing devious things, and pulling pranks on people.

Essentially, he is just an arrogant asshat.

Russet Rex

To say he was a troublemaker would not be accurate. He never intends to cause trouble, though he isn't exactly doing much to avoid it. Then again, his definition of trouble isn't traditional, so he will always argue against the label. After all, trouble is only when the Peacekeepers are involved, and he hasn't done anything illegal, yet. For all that he hasn't broken the law, he sure enjoys bothering others, well, mainly his older sister (currently unnamed). It doesn't help that he is nowhere near being a quiet child, always wanting to be heard when he feels he has something to say. If it's important, then he's all the louder for it. When breaking news, or even trying to wrangle information out of people, he usually ends up being quite direct, and is often caught before pulling a joke on someone because of it. Often, he will lose things from both not caring enough to remember where he put them, or because he's just plain messy. His room looks like a tornado blew through it, but for the most part he can find everything. Unless it's important, then it just disappears into the piles.

Raja Rex

Growing up in a big family, it's hard not to be competitive. Especially knowing you're a girl. Raja has had to duke it out on many occasions just to overpower her brother's in what they get to eat for dinner or who's turn it is to not do the dishes. And who has time for that anyways? What, with training and all, and having to be better than everyone in district one, especially guys. I think Raja would be pansexual, not really caring what sex someone is, just how they are as a person. Although it's not unnatural, Raja has a very strong admiration for like all of the District One female tributes. Even though she fights a lot with family, she really truly loves them, and at the end of the day, she isn't as tough as people think her to be.

Raja Rex
When Raja was young, she looked around at the world with wide, impressionable eyes. What she saw was an infinite collection of examples which told her without doubt that whatever needs doing must be done oneself. She watched as her mother fell pregnant again and again, weak and seemingly susceptible to whatever her father wanted. The television flickered, illuminating her sharp features, and the voice of President Snow brought silence upon the District. Raja decided that he was wrong. She went on to decide that a large amount of people were wrong. And she, of course, was right. And so she trained, because those she admired most where the snarky, quick-witted female tributes that came so often from her District. They did better than the boys, usually. Went down with glittering eyes and an air of indifference that Raja admired incomprehensibly. Girls were better than boys, to the tiny career, because they made less mistakes. And they were prettier. Everybody else knew before she did that Raja liked girls, and when she finally came to it, she accepted herself right there and then without discussion. After all, there is nothing and nobody a boy can do that a girl cannot do better. It became apparent to Raja that if she trained long and hard enough, there was also nothing anybody else could do that she could not do better. And so she bit back, grew up rejecting any kind of authority. Rebellious, careless, defiant and willing to reject anything on the basis that somebody else has though of it, Raja has always been known as something of a wild child. In reality, she has trust issues, unable to accept that anybody, even herself, sometimes, although she hates to admit this knows what is right.

Tyrannus Rex

Sadist. Tyrannus is a very good-looking charming boy that has a very dark side, he can be very cruel and cunning and will often take jokes to the extreme, in ways that are over-done and always end up with someone injured. He, of course, finds this very funny and will watch and take no part in helping anyone hurt or injured. He is a very up himself boy who does see himself as the best and top-notch. His ability to play pranks has made him very sly and unpredictable as they have allwoed him the ability to sneak around and set them up. He isn't calm, not at all, he can easily have outbusts and feels no obligation to behaving in a certain manner, he will act the way he wants to, when he wants to. His twin and the calmer half of him is his best friend and he believes that his twin is prehaps the only person he would never seriously intend to hurt, even if he ended up being part of one of his cruel sick jokes.

Tyrannus cannot be called a time bomb, because he is so unpredictable that his family have begun to only be surprised by him when he is calm. His relationship with the rest of his siblings is strained, to say the least. Tigirius is practically his opposite, with arms bigger than his brains and warmth of heart enough to melt the frozen wastelands to the north of Panem. While Tyrannus has no reason to hate or envy him, he is sickened by how someone who is supposed to be the figurehead of their family could possibly be so very dull. Leo's intelligence is used in a very different way to Ty's, and some sort of jealousy emerges in the latter when he sees Leo excel in Career-training, and conversation. Tyrannus feels no superiority to his younger siblings, instead viewing them simply as other people – not close family – and pieces to manipulate in his schemes. Raja's battles for the sake of feminism bore him, because as she tries to prove that she is better than the Rex boys as a unit, she draws Tyrannus into the same category as his brothers, and he always argues that he is something totally different. The only person who he lets close to him is, of course, his twin. While he has never felt he can truly relate to Tarquin, there's something about the unbreakable blood bond between them that means Tyrannus wants to share more with him than just his face.

Tyrannus is a prankster, yet he only feels his tricks are successful when he reaps screams from them, and not laughter. He desperately needs to use his brains to cause chaos in his house, while still holding control over all the havoc, because he is so lacking in ability that it gives him a chance to truly be the master of his siblings. He doesn't have a superiority complex, nor some obsession with dominance, he is just as insecure as every other somewhere-in-the-middle sibling, and mid-training Career child. The niggling voice inside his head tells him he's nothing as he watches the rest of the Rex clan succeed in all their individual tasks, heading forwards on their paths in life while his feels like a dead end. They all have a place to be, a family role they fit into, and so his self-fashioned place is to act as the stumbling block in their way. He is the pitfall, the shadow and the snake at their heel, trying to hinder them so he doesn't feel quite so lost.

that's a great idea onyx said no one ever. So he's insecure in his abilities, because he's not that good at fighting or at school, and as a result he thinks the only way he can be good at something is by making everyone else worse. He does it through carefully planned pranks and not just random acts of violence because that way he feels like he is achieving something directly, not just through other people's sufferings. Yeah.

Pan is the definition of solitude. She doesn't like being around anyone and prefers to stay locked in her room most days. She loves climbing trees and feels very safe in them, at least safer than she feels on the ground. She likes to adventure at night and sleep during the day, but is also required to go through Career training during the day, which makes her extremely exhausted most of the time. She is much, much stronger than she looks and is one of the smartest children you will ever meet. She likes Leo the most out of anyone else in the family for this reason. Otherwise, she finds most of her family to petty and completely insignificant. She also has a thing for being stealthy. She likes being able to get away with something and therefore steals from many stores and from her siblings, just to see if she can get away with it. She keeps everything she has ever stolen in her closet and has a little collection that she admires greatly. Everyone sees her as innocent and unable to hurt a fly, but she knows she is much more than just a little girl. She kick yo butt if you mess wit her!!

Tigris Rex

Tigris seems to be more of a follower, doing what Tiger does. She can't stand when people are constantly running their mouth. This often makes her angry so she ends up snapping at people pretty easily. She doesn't give up when she is trying to make a point and will continue to ramble on about whatever it is. Her strength nor intellegence show through as much, though she has both. Her strong point is probably getting her way in arguements. She's not a loud mouth, but still expresses her opinion. She doesn't really like Russet, getting easily annoyed with him. She often feels like she needs to punch him in the face to get him to shut his mouth. Tigris is often overly confident.

Name: Tigris Rex.
Personality: Looks at Tiger for a sort of role-model. Is smarter than Tiger, but not as good at the Career aspect of her their lives. Tigris also has a big heart, much like Tiger. Tigris doesn't get along with most of the boy in her family, with Leo and Tiger (and the littles) being exceptions. She especially doesn't get along with Russet, probably because he stole the attention from her a year after she was born. Russet and her usually argue, but it's never excelled much. Always words, and maybe a few slaps or kicks. Tigris is popular for good reasons. Doesn't get caught up in drama. Unlike some of her siblings, she kind of knows that guys are physically stronger than girls. Even if girls have one the majority of Games in the past few years, she still knows that a guy could lift more than a girl, throw further, run faster. It doesn't bother her, though. It's just how they were created.
History: Being pretty much the middle child since the last one was born, life is good and bad in some ways. Tiger, Raja, and Vertigo don't mind her tagging along sometimes. Also, she probably has to less work since the oldest have the most responsibility. Tigris started looking up to Tiger ever since she realized how good he could handle crazy situations and like thirteenhundred kids. Has always loved her family even if they do argue.

Tyrannus Horass Rex

I think he's lost, to be completely honest. He's not quite sure who he is, or what he is. He began by thinking that he was a boy, but how can he be just a boy when there is someone out there that looks exactly like him? Is he the same person? When ty leaves a room, does the rest of the world disappear? He'n not altogether sure, he has to leave footprints. He leaves these marks on the people around him in small little ways. He once told his sister that she was adopted, and even got legitimate adoption papers made to prove it. He's excellent at deceptions and pranks, and does these things often, mostly because he doesn't actually believe that anyone he talks to is real. He's the only real thing there is, and everyone else is a lie. The games are hilarious! Doesn't anyone else get the joke? They aren't real! It's just a prank! Sometimes he doesn't even think he himself is real, and then he has to find out in ways that would make most people cringe. He's probably a little bit crazy, but who isn't, really?
