Jane M. Hart
--------------------------------------------------------------
Hello, my name's Jane Marie Hart, but most people just call me Jane. I'm 19 years old and still live at home -somewhat sad, I know.- I'm happy to say that I've gotten my mother and father's blue eyes. But I got my fathers light brown hair, when I could have had my mothers platinum blonde hair. But that's nothing to worry about, it's her height (five feet and eleven inches) that catches everyone off guard.

Personality
Recently Jane has fallen into a depression. Her mind constantly races from thought to thought, mainly because of her ADHD, but not many of the thoughts are good anymore. Most of them tell her how she’s ugly and how she needs to just stop. She doesn’t even know what she has to stop, just that she should. Sometimes the thoughts get to be too much and she’ll lock herself in the bathroom and cry for hours on end.
She started therapy when her parents told her it was for the best. It’s not bad, but she feels weird telling her thoughts to another person who doesn’t know her or her story. For her parents, she’s trying. She does want to get better; and over the past few weeks she has noticed an increase in her mood. She’s a bit happier, although she isn’t done just yet. Jane still has a long way to go before they’ll consider her “healed and fixed again”.
Living in District One has had its effects on her. She tries so hard to look beautiful and to fit in with there’s wonderful people, but it’s just so hard to do that when you’re overweight and slightly taller than normal. People give Jane weird looks as she walks down the street. People tend to stare at the sunken in eyes and the long, gangly, arms that she has. It’s hard to look beautiful, and her mind won’t register that she already is beautiful.
Before she was depressed, she was actually good at some things in life. She was especially good at fencing/sword fighting. She enjoyed going to the gym and training just to get stronger. (She wasn’t like the other careers who trained for the games, she trained for fun.) She also was good at talking to other people. She was able to help them with their problems, but that seemed to disappear along with her happiness.

Enemies
Enemies are somewhat simple for Jane to make. She's so pessimistic towards the world that she tends to get on people's bad sides very easily. Not getting mad easily is a gift she has. Meaning; you can try to provoke her, but it's going to take a lot to make her snap.

Friends
People tend to stay away from her when it comes to getting friendly. Jane likes to be a lone wolf most of the time. However, every friend she has ever had has had an impact in her life. The few recent ones have helped her depression (which is somewhat what she looks for in a friend now a days). Either way, if you manage to make a friend in Jane; expect it to be rocky.

Lovers
She's not very interested in boys (or girls for the matter). She just wants to continue to live life like a normal human. She doesn't need the warm and tender kisses, or the passionate embraces. She really just needs a friend who can help her out.

OOC
My posts range from 300 words to 1000+ words. But I am looking to improve this and begin writing longer and longer posts. However, I'm willing to write anywhere in my range and all you have to do is specify. If you don't specify and I'm starting the thread, I'll assume you want around 600 words.
