I make my way downstairs to the kitchen where there is a big fridge was waiting to supply me with meat that I got from last weeks hunt and maybe one of my siblings left me a bag of blood to eat as well. I open it to find no blood, which sounds like some type of animals also known as my siblings. I settled for the bit of meat in there and took it out, not bothering to take out a plate or a fork and much less a kniefe. I quickly tear apart one piece stuff it in my mouth and head out the door to training. The walk to training isn't very far and I could still tast e the meat left on my teeth, I hope I didn't have anything stuck because that would be very embarising, espcialy since I have to train with a partner today. I wonder what he or she would be like, would they reconize my name? Would I know them? Would he take training as serious as me? Though that is near immposiable since on my family takes training as serious as us. All I ever truly want to do is train. I'll do it in the morning or at night. Lifting weights, sprinting, weapons training, or even sparring. I've pushed myself so hard. I wanted to get reaped or volunteer this year, but the quell made that plan trash. Oh how I wish that I was in the games. Nothing would stop me from rampaging throughout the games. The academy. Its almost opening time and I need to haul ass to get there first. My feet drag me to the exit from my house. I'm usually the first one to training every day. Sometimes I even get there hours before the doors open. I wonder how many enemies I've made in the past months. Ever since the quell announcement, I've thrown myself into training with a much more determined sense. If only these games were normal. These tributes in the game disgust me. No one has impressed me enough except maybe Emery and Iago. For ripred's sake, neither of them are from this district. I sigh. No good would come with me ranting. I finally push myself out the door and sprint toward the academy doors. Today I would have a training partner. I wont embarrass myself by showing up late. My lungs are on fire. The heat spreads throughout my entire body. I arrive at the doors to the academy out of breath. Cardio would have to be a focus when I get the chance. I step through the all to familiar doors to see someone waiting. I notice its a woman. Are you kidding me? I'm screwed. I really hoped he was just late, because I need training it keeps me alive along with blood and fresh meat ripped of a human body. The thought made me hungry, I didn't even get a proper breakfast because someone drank all the blood, which means another wonderful hunting trip was going to occur tonight. I wasn't ready to go another day without having to taste the salty red liqued that makes me who I am and what I am. I start to pace back inforth completly out of boredom. I couldn't train without a partner and I didn't see anyone I knew in sight that would let me train with them till he got here. I let my cheeks fill up with air and relese it to show my boredom to the whole wide universe of this training center. My feet slowly bring me back and forth turning after three steps and going the other way, this patern seemed to be the way it was going to go on for a while if he didn't show up soon. He finaly runs through the training door as if he had run the whole way. He didn't make a good expression on me and I just stared at him with my darkbrown eyes and my arms folded over my chest. My lungs feel like they've burst on fire. There isn't enough oxygen getting into my lungs which is leading me to have a hard time breathing. "I... I..." My lungs still haven't recovered from the long sprinting run I took just to even attempt arrive here on time. It's quite obvious that I haven't with this girl here. I actually had hope that I'd make it here in time, but plans have changed. Here she is on time and waiting for me. "I'm Camille Blackmore Cam for short and it isn't a pleasure meeting you" I had to laugh at that. Not a pleasure meeting me? I couldn't give a shit even if I tried. Why would I want to be friends with someone like this. It's obvious to me that she is a stuck up bitch who's good for nothing. Yet here she is with me as her partner. Well, I look forward to teaching her a lesson. I march right up to her face. "Listen here Camille. I don't care who you are or what you've done. If you think being here early will impress me, well you got another thing coming. So what if I'm late? Maybe I was busy training with someone else. Anyone is more worth than you." The hatred in my voice had to be obvious, yet when I look at this girl full on in the face, my heart drops. I didn't realize how beautiful she looked. I scratch the back of my head in embarrassment. I back away from her looking like an idiot. My cheeks felt like they were on fire. Oh god. I'm an idiot for backing away like that. I should of held my ground. Now my words will mean nothing to that girl. In an attempt to pass of my retreat, I jog to the table that held a variety of different looking bows for target practice. I randomly select a bow, because right now, I want to show that being late would mean nothing in the long run. I notch an arrow, bring my breathing to a slow rhythm and release the arrow at a dummy. With a satisfying shot through the throat, I allow a grin to take over. Normally I wouldn't get such a good shot with the bow. Luck appeared to be on my side today. Everybody knows who we are, I mean we have a certain status in this district and pretty boy comes in and says he doesn't give a shit. Usually during the day I am one of the sweetest things, plus an attitude. He already made my midnight hunter make a slight appearence, but I try to calm it down. The key to not killing in the middle of the training center is not to let your anger take control of you. I can feel his anger toward me, which is seriously a little to early to show, becuase we just met and I don't even have a name to put to his face. He isn't what I would describe as handsome, or good looking, but he has got this edge of roughness to appearence as if he knew he was born to train, and born to kill...just like me. Though no one ever thinks I am the girl I am. I have this sad look to me that makes me look almost suicidle. Like I really am sad the whole time, though I guess I put on a bit of make-up and I look pretty as can be. I shrug "You know maybe you should care who I am and what I have done, because you are stuck with me, just some advice I don't want to start a fight here" I told him smiling, trying to cover for my attitude before. I didn't want him to get the wrong picture of me. I didn't want him to get the real picture of me. he didn't have to know I am a canninball or a person who drinks blood. He doesn't need to know that I could slit his throught right her and right now and not have a problem with it. Though the best part is that he doesn't know and never will know unless he happens to catch me during hunting time. I don't know what happend, or what made him back up adn look as if he caught fire. For a secound I thought he was going to stand there like an idiote and come up with some lame excuse for not being able to train with me today and run away. I thought that I already messed it up and was not going to get a second chance to make him not think that I am a lunatic or something similar. I grow big eyes as in I really busted this and then noticed the arrow pinned in the dummie. The dummie was giving a satisfying anount of blood back as a reward and was making me somewhat hungry. I hoped that my siblings were kind enough to go hunting in broad daylight and get me something before I starve to death from watching dummies spray fake blood.
