Jay Krearns was no man of romance. There was nothing romantic about him. He didn't bring flowers or buy any jewelry or go out on dates with his boyfriend. The last thing Jay did with his boyfriend was have sex and Jay felt nothing in it. There was a thought that he might have felt something, but it didn't feel right to him. Nothing felt quite right to him anyways. Mason was gone and all Jay had left were cousins, Jev, and Curse. Curse Jinx, the boy who had helped Jay through all of his pain and suffering. The guy who was as sweet as a button. The guy Jay didn't like or love anymore.
Jay had been home all week trying to decide what to do with his life. The main focus was on Curse. Jay didn't want Curse to suffer anymore. Curse needed to be happy and find someone perfect for him. Not Jay. Not the boy who probably has been tearing Curse's heart. Curse needed a guy who would treat him right and cook him breakfast and dinner. Someone to cuddle with and cry on if needed. Curse needed someone who would get his humor. He needed someone that understands Curse, someone that is not Jay Krearns.
Jay was currently on his way to the Jinx's house. This was the day that Curse and Jay would remember for a long time. This would be the day that the two go their separate ways. Jay with his surf shack and Curse with whatever Curse does. Jay didn't even know what Curse did for a job or for fun. It really was time, it is like he never knew who Curse was. Curse was a stranger to him now days because Jay didn't spend time with Curse.
Jay knocked on the door softly. His heart beating faster. Jay had never been the boy to break someone's heart, but now he would be. He would be breaking the first heart. It would be hard getting over his first love, but he would manage. Jay quietly waited for Curse. Curse had answered and Jay just went straight past him inside of the house.
Jay sat down in Curse's room taking in the smell of the room. Remembering his first time in this room. Remembering his feeling of Joy. Remembering the first time he had ever kissed someone. This room held memories and he wanted to add another one to it, to complete the puzzle. Jay took in a deep breath and spoke slowly, "Curse... We need to talk. I know that you are my first love and all, but I think it's time for us to move on. I'm sorry." Jay stood still watching Curse. This day would be a memory that Jay would never forget. A day that will be full of sorrow. Jay just hoped Curse would be alright because Jay knew for a fact that he wouldn't be. Jay Krearns, the boy who broke his first heart.
