Name: Dyonisia Nouveau
Age: 19
Gender: Female
District/Area: Capitol
Appearance:
Natural? Please. I started pretty, but then I discovered the wonders of plastic surgery and took beauty to a whole new level. That embarrassing little photo there was just prior to my permanent hair-dye installation -- neon green, if you must know. What can I say, I'm a sucker for the spotlight.
And that was just the beginning.
I touched up everything that was lacking. My eyes are now a delightful shade of deep purple. I was dubious at first, but the beautician told me all about avant-garde color theory, and I was just blown away by the results. I'm a true believer of "out with the old, in with the new." It's in my name, after all. Nouveau -- new -- is everything.
Of course, I got the usual package as well. Bigger boobs, longer legs, wider hips. I took it a bit beyond purely sexy, though. Men are a bit too easily pleased by an artificially crafted body. When they see me, I want them to think about how slightly off my proportions are. And then I want them to think about how much they still want to bone me. It's hilarious and sexy all at the same time.
Makes it a bit of a bitch to find proper fitting clothing, though. Not that the Capitol doesn't accommodate for modified bodies. They do, and the stuff designers produce is...all right. But I want better than all right. I want the best, the most cutting edge fashion there is. Mummy and Daddy groan a bit, but their pockets can handle it.
Plus, they like how I look just as much as I do. Even though I'm about a foot taller than both of them. What can I say, a bit of height can really bring some family photos together.
Speaking of which, I'm going to need you to dispose of that picture, mmkay?
Personality:
Well, I suppose impeccable fashion does need a mind behind it. Though asking me to describe myself is a little odd, even for a first virtual date.
I'll tell you this, even though I'm sure you've already guessed it: I am damn smart. No Capitol shorthand for me -- outside of texts, of course. That's why you noticed me, isn't it? My profile written out in full sentences? Or are you just into the 'bodymod-as-fashion' scene? Either's fine. I guess I'm just a little curious.
My intelligence usually just alienates people. People in the Capitol are so used to the social graces of people nodding and smiling, not calling them out on their bullshit. Well, surprise! I don't let people say stupid shit in my presence. If you are around me, we will speak honestly and intelligently, or not at all. The 'not at all' part is fine in bed, though.
People might think I'm lonely, but I'm not. I don't care if people don't like me or think I'm a bitch. I tell it like it is, and I only want respect from people who can handle that. Someone with my busy agenda doesn't have time for weakness or sympathy.
Conveniently, this is the perfect personality profile for a prospective Gamemaker. Which I am.
Bet you didn't know that, huh?
History:
Ok, fine. I'm not a Gamemaker yet.
...yeah, I'm not in the Institute either.
I'm not lying! Haven't you heard of the Gamemaker Internship Program? Uncultured swine.
I got in because I was the best of the best. A few other kids did too, but we all know who the top dog is. I've watched all the best Games multiple times, and can analyze each Victor's strategy at the drop of a hat. I know what makes tributes tick. And someday, when I'm Head Gamemaker, you'll see just how good my Arenas are. Instant classics.
What's your favorite Games, out of curiosity?
Don't want to talk about it? Pfft, lame. All right, if you insist on this touchy-feely nonsense, I'll keep talking. You're lucky you're cute.
There's really not much to my life story. You have, of course, heard of my parents' dual cosmetic and fashion line. Yes, they were more popular a few years ago -- business was a bit better before the marriage got stale -- but we're still around and strong as ever. Our spring line, for instance...
You haven't seen it? Really?
Fine. Whatever. Moving on.
Regardless of our business's...current status, my parents still give me plenty of money. Always have, really. Their first priority was my education, and I went to some hole-in-the-wall private school for a while. I hated it. Everything was dusty and gross -- and the uniforms! Just blasphemous, I tell you. But I survived, and I learned a lot. I probably learned more in a single year at that place than in my entire time at a public Capitol high school.
But I learned more about fashion and met my party friends, so it wasn't a total loss.
Sadly, I can't party as much as I'd like to. Taking some designer chemical and dancing 'til dawn is a blast, and I always look forward to my weekend soirees. But I do have to study at some point. Sigh. At least my studying now is rewatching old Games tapes. So retro. I'm a killer at trivia.
I got into the GMIP -- Gamemaker Internship Program, do I have to spell everything out? -- about a year ago when I graduated high school. I've been working there since then. Sure, the work isn't exactly glamorous, and we don't get to participate in any of the actual moderation. But just being there is enough for me. It's my foot in the door, and very, very soon, I'll be able to start the Institute and become a real Gamemaker.
What? You don't like the Games?
'Kay, I'm out. We're really not as compatible as I thought.
