Appearance:
Like the electricity District 5 produce, Garric's hair seems like it's electric. Each hair seems to stand on end. The texture are as soft as the barbs of a feather and they are flame red. His face is delicately freckled with tiny dark peach spots, especially across his nose. His nose isn't very prominent though. Garric's ears stick out quite a bit and are pointed at the top, which he is embarrassed about.
His eyes are a mix , a swirl of the deepest ocean blue, the green of a forest canopy and the morning sky. His eyebrows are arched and thin, making him seem like he is questioning everything. It suits him as usually - he is. His lips are very red and are constantly chapped and the tips of his mouth will be found curved upwards in a warm smile. Garric's teeth aren't perfectly white and are slightly yellowed and sticking out in the wrong places; definitely not the typically perfect smile. But it's still a great smile to match a great face.
He is generally quite lanky. Tall and thin. He's only thin because he forgets to eat sometimes. He'd rather get his family fed than himself and is very dosy. His arms aren't muscly at all, nor his legs. Garric's stomach was surprisingly well toned compared to the rest of his bruised-splattered body. His body was covered in bruises for him being a bit of a plonker, always falling over, tripping up and banging his head etc. etc. He does not care what he wears as long as it makes his arse look good - which means skinny jeans and his wardrobe full of long-sleeved shirts.
Personality:
Garric lets nothing bring him down. The only thing that does is other people complaining. About how they are forced to live, about the games, about how they are powerless to change anything. Garric prefers to keep his min don what he has rather than what he doesn't, or what others have. Even if he isn't terrifically smart, he knows that he does not need to waste time on dreaming up nonsense about what he wants. It's never going to happen and that's that. So Garric sticks to the present and not the past and not the future to maintain a happy mind.
Garric is very pusillanimous. He doesn't like socializing much, mostly because he doesn't try, but also because he is afraid to speak out because people might think of him badly. He hates performing in front of anyone except from his friends, whom of which he has very little. Otherwise, he is very timid and hates any attention on him, so he usually just down his abilities so he does not get noticed. Unfortunately, this has had an effect on him and he isn't too clever, although he had the potential to be very smart. He dislikes the games very much and he capitol, but he understands that the capitolites are sort of brainwashed to enjoy them so he just sees them as crazy children, but he hates the government.
Garric has a very irritating habit to tap his side rapidly that he only does when he's nervous or under pressure. Such as talking to people, specifically attractive boys. Oh yes and he is homosexual and has a boyfriend called Drabett. He dislikes breaking rules because he is afraid he will get caught so he taps his side then. He has a soft spot for animals, especially small dogs, like terriers and cats. He has a Tonkinese called Sooty whom he loves very much.
History:
Garric was born in the evening on the 22nd of July on the 53rd games - making him 17. His mother's umbilical cord suffocated him, but has not caused severe damage except mild asthma which he has now 'fixed' because he has built up his stamina over the years and now does not encounter problems unless it is running for a LONG time. His father wasn't around when he was born. Unfortunately, he was out working in the energy research labs and only saw him the next morning. His mother works but not as much as his father who is a workaholic. Taking after his father, Garric works a bunch too. He had his first injury aged 1 and a half tripping over a table leg which is a bit later than other kids do.
His best friend is a girl called Millie Midgely. They met as soon as school started when Garric fell over her chair. Millie's very tall and has short, brown curly hair. Shes very sharp-witted and sarcastic, so sometimes her comments fly past Garric. They always defend each other no matter what. Garric proved this when Millie was framed for severely injuring another person at school and he stuck up for her so much he convinced everyone that she did not do it. They are still best buds.
Garric's boyfriend, Drabbet is the same age as him. He has black hair and is shorter than Garric. They met at the district square, at the vegetable store. Garric was buyin gsome tomatoes and Drabbet was buying a cucumber. It's surprising they didn't really talk to each other in school, but they began talking immediately. They found out that each other were gay and single and decided to go out with each other after various 'meetings'. (They didn't call them dates then.) He loves Drabbet very much and feels that he is the best person to trust, even more than Millie.
