The looks that ran in the family were similar to the appearance that Ivy Frost had. Her hair was a dark brown, easily mistaken for black on some days. The young woman often left her hair in loose curls that fell over her shoulder. If she was actually seen walking about it was a known motion for Ivy to flip her hair constantly. Of course, who would see her unless they went searching? Next there is the matter of her cold black eyes. Heartless and dead, they are truly brown but in any shadowed lighting they appear as black holes that take in all of the light and destroy it. They are sharp thin eyes that always look as if they are cutting through whoever they are focused on. They fit so well with the entire family's personality. The rest of her facial features mesh well together. Her nose is thin yet well rounded, her face has a very well rounded heart shape with thin lips and chubby cheeks.

Next there is the matter of her physique. While she is in district three where most people are skinny or thin from not having the luxuries of the previous two districts, she is a bit on the heavier side. That does not mean Ivy is fat, it just means with how little she actually moves and how much food she is able to swipe from other people, she packs on a few layers of meat unlike others. She has a curvy body often fitted with tight clothes to show off everything she has. Often she wears the shortest of shorts as well for the sole reason they seem to stretch out her long legs and make her appear as if she is actually tall. Now while she isn't short, Ivy does not have a lot of height to her. She falls a few inches short of the average height but has a dream of being taller than the rest of the population. But that is only a dream because no matter how high her heels may be or how much she stretches out her legs, she will always be just below average with a pretty yet harsh face that no one really sees.

Personality:

It has been said that Ivy is like a poison to the people around her. She is cruel and uncaring. Manipulative and deceitful. Hateful and cold. She has been called heartless by those who have figured out her game. All of those words describe her perfectly, but most people don;t know it. Most people don't understand that her lulling voice and sweet tunes are merely a device to help her get further in life. Or rather, get her what she wants. It is unclear if these desires actually benefit her in her future or if they are merely destroying everything that she has. Regardless of what it is doing to her, it is what she is doing that matters. Daily she has tasks that must be completed and daily she does not do them yet daily they get done. If she would spend as much time as she does avoiding the tasks at hand she could possibly get double the work done but that is not how Ivy works.

Oh no. Ivy is much better than that. She is too good for everyone else to actually apply herself in any situation. The work she is given is for that of someone who is below her in social class. Which really is everyone in her mind. Too good for the common folk. Instead of working and doing what she is supposed to she uses her natural gifts to do the work. Her sweet and quiet tones convince those around her to listen to her and do the work. Her beauty uses hormones to her advantage just in case her voice doesn't work with those special cases. It is her fast paced mind that truly wins the show. It can generate a reason for anyone to work for her withing seconds of careful analyzing. And regardless of how many days in a row she has gone to a certain person to do the work for her, the story is always more and more convincing, the acting really selling her part in the imaginary play going on inside of her mind. Truthfully, if Ivy applied her ingenious brain to her school work, it is possible she would be one of the top of her class. It is the matter of actually doing work that "scares" her so to speak away from doing anything academic or physical. 

The final important personality quirk of Ivy is her judgement of time. The poor young woman does not see the world in days and hours and minutes. She sees things rather as thoughts and wasted moments. Sleeping and eating are her day and night. Each knew idea is an hour and someone telling her to do something is on the minute. Time is irrelevant to her in all senses. She eats when she is hungry, sleeps when she is tired, lazes about when she is bored and so on. There is no set time for anything. Minutes and hours are a human made function so why should she use them if she is better than the human race? The poor girl who knows no time or effort. The poor girl who was raised by a poisoned family and became the poison herself of pure cruelty. She could have gone so far in life.

History:

The Frost family always assumed they were better than everyone else. They would not go out in public or associate with the "common folk" of the land. When Ivy was born to the two extremely cruel parents, things were rough. The parents had their little princess who could do whatever she wanted and then they had Ivy. The unwanted child who was decided to be a workhorse for the family from a young age. And it was something that she hated. Ivy despised doing anything for her parents. She refused to do the work and then was thus rightly punished by her parents. So Ivy became creative. She figured out ways to get her older sister to do the work for her no matter how brief it was. But the method created problems between the two sisters. It was when Spider and Keanu became old enough to work that Ivy really had a business going on.

She could get any of her siblings to do what she needed them to for some strange reason, though she stopped going to her eldest sister for assistance, not wanting to make the fissure between them worse and ruin her own life. She was not an idiot. With the knowledge that her family would easily succumb to her will with some tricky wordings and clever stories, an ego began to form. Ivy began to see herself above the rest because of how willingly they would bend to her day after day. She started to view her position as the secret queen of the family. While Wynter seemed to be taking their mother's spot in the household it was clear to the young teenager that she was really in charge. She truly had the reigns over everyone else as well as the control. The ego never really was an issue seeing as it formed inside her head and there it stayed. Forming from actions that never went away it was hard to break down. 

It was when Keanu was chosen for the games that things started to fall apart. The entire family was on edge and it was becoming even harder to deceive the watchful eyes. Her lies had to become more absurd. They had to become more believable because of the situation. Ivy could feel herself losing the control that she had and it caused her to panic. She does not give in easily. She refuses to let go of her position.
