Age: 20

District/Area: Wanderer
Appearance:
When you first see Ghost, you may not think much of him at all. He is not skinny and not fat with some toned muscle, but not to the point where he looks like he works out for a living just to get stronger. His build is more of a distance runner’s build mixed with a rock climber’s build. Tall and somewhat skinny, but strong enough to overcome even the worst physical obstacles. He stands at six feet and one inch tall, being within the average height of men his age.Personality:
His tattoo that is comprised of a pattern that seems almost like flames stretches from his shoulder to his elbow on the left arm. He has gained a few more scars on his chest and right arm apart from the one he originally had on the right cheek of his sharp and defined face. Within his eye sockets sit two sea green orbs that are constantly on the lookout. Where they used to hold anger, they hold wisdom of the world and most things in it. His rust brown hair is still as messy as ever and sometimes covered by a black hat.
His clothing is different from when he was sixteen as he now wears a black jacket with a dark shirt underneath it. His pants are still a dark pair of jeans and his feet have become so hardened with callouses that he can run around without any shoes on if he wishes. His last covering are the fingerless gloves that he wears. He has a backpack that contains extra clothing that he stole as well as some essentials such as a sewing kit, survival/combat knife which he had from when he left his district originally. He has a carved piece which is a J in a circle that he got from someone a while back. Everything in his backpack is a lifeline which he uses when they are needed.
Ghost used to be a mystery on how he acted. He had withheld all of his emotions from everyone that he ever met which made him unpredictable. He would smirk every once in a while, but other than that his face would remain expressionless. But that all changed as he moved through life.History:
He met a girl that he opened up to when he was sixteen and then a few months later, met a Capitol spy who went by the name of Melanie Traverson who opened his emotions up more than ever. He met one more person who completely changed his outlook on his personality a few weeks after a fight in the forest.
He is not a person who trusts easily and stays quiet when he needs to. He does try to make friends with people as his personality gave him more of a friendly air in comparison to his old personality which made people hate him. His outlooks on life are now also much broader and this affects his relations with other people much differently than before.
He does still have a mysterious air to him though as he is rarely the one to stay in a house and live in a traditional neighborhood. He knows that he would be caught if he did, so he fights when needed and then disappears into the shadows of the forest unless he knows of another place. His biggest flaw is that he does not trust others easily unless he had actually met them and gotten to know the person well enough.
Ghost was born under the name Kurt Smith to his parents, Mia and Anders Smith in the Seam of District Twelve. Since his parents were poor, his father worked at the mines while his mother took it upon herself to begin his schooling. He was taught math and the other subjects as well as subjects like sewing and how to keep clothes clean.Codeword: odair
He was schooled every day and had some time to go out to play with the other kids. But his social skills were poor and he usually ended up playing games alone. Other kids would walk past him and whisper about him. Because of this, his social skills got worse leading him to be very withdrawn from anyone except for his parents.
As he got older, his father would take him just past the fence out of sight to teach him how to fight with a knife. They practiced with wooden sticks to simulate a fight with knives. He would be an average fighter up until that fateful day.
He was thirteen at the time and rebellion had broken out. Like the other rebellions, it didn't last very long. Kurt's parents were in the group of rebels and the capitol had him watch as his parents and countless other brothers, sisters, mothers, and fathers were killed. He couldn't forgive the Capitol for what they had done to him. He was on his own now and began his self training which would last until he was stronger than the weakest guard.
Every day, he would stay in the house and condition his body. He would do push-ups, sit-ups, pull-ups, and a number of other upper, lower, and core exercises. When he was almost fourteen years old, he struck in the middle of the night with some self-made clothing. The Peacekeeper guard had been a friend, but it didn't pain him a bit to kill him.
The next morning, the keeper was found dead and with the name "Ghost" spelled out on his body in blood. His knife was missing as well as a blade that the man had always carried on him. He found his way to other districts over the course of the next two years, acquiring supplies for survival.
He first met Tom and the Vigilantes when he was fourteen and a half, first fighting him, and then befriending him because of similar beliefs. That was when he received his tattoo from Tom who made natural dyes out of plants and safe berries. He got to know the rest of the Vigilantes over the course of a year and a half.
He was now sixteen and an avid fighter. That was when he met her. Dwyn Sparks. She rocked his world in more than one way. A hunter of District Nine, she was an avid fighter like him and shared a few different things with him. The first time that they met, they fought each other, being almost equal matches for each other. It wouldn't be until later that he would realize that he loved her.
He then would run into trouble later in District Four and meet someone who he never would have met if he hadn't gotten into trouble. Melanie Traverson was the girl's name. He was there through the trials that she faced as a runaway spy for the government. He helped her during her first part of the journey where they fought against a bunch of peacekeepers and he disarmed one. He stayed until they made it to District Nine where he met up with Dwyn and one of her friends named Flight.
That was when he got into major trouble. It took him a while after the incident to get away from the district since he was seen by a peacekeeper who recognized his face. He eventually made it out and met Melanie at District Twelve where he helped out Tom and saw Melanie get reunited with her mother. That was when he got his two handguns that Tom had confiscated. He was seen once more in the districts and then disappeared.
For two years he forced himself into his own "exile" and meditated and found his real self. He discarded the ranged weapons in a hole he dug in the forest and kept the sword that he had kept with him from the peacekeeper that he had killed. He trained for two years and became strong in almost every environment. His fighting was still flawed though.
He wandered around the districts, finding new wanderers and trying to help them on their way to freedom. The freedom that he had. Yet, with his freedom came the curse of living and knowing that he may have to fight or kill another human being. His fighting ability has become much better and he is a battle hardened veteran. He does occasionally sneak into a few districts, but doesn't stay for long due to the fact that he usually causes trouble whenever he is in a district.
Comments/Other:
This is the re-vamp of an old character of mine. Since I didn't kill him, he is still alive and was just in his own "exile". I decided to downgrade what he owned as weaponry (which when I left was a tranq gun, combat knife, handguns, and katana blade). I have explained what he did with these and whether he kept them or not in his history.
