Other: Link (for my reference) Gwynn
Age: 16
Gender: Female
District/Area: District 7
Appearance:
Gwynn's name, surprisingly, isn't the most unique part about her. Her hair is a golden blonde with soft streaks of chestnut brown woven in them. Her hair is fairly short, as she tends to keep it that way, and falls down around her shoulders, but not much farther. She usualy wears her hair in a part to her left, and sometimes will put it in a quick ponytail when she really needs to concentrate.
Emerald, though, best explains her eyes. They have a hint of brown swirling in them as if the green were the water and the brown a drop of food dye, making them an eyecolor known best as hazel. She doesn't have any deformities with her teeth, such as gaps, crooked teeth, or any of the such. Her lips are a pale pink that very much completes her facial features.
The best word for her skin is pale. She doesn't really burn easily, nor tan, as her skin is very stubborn. She isn't a ghostly pale, but she isn't described exactly as a tan, either. She's more of a central, with peachy skin and rosy cheeks. Her body is average, not too skinny, not too thick, and her curves are very nice. She is just a smidge taller than most her age, making her stand out a bit, but that's okay with her.
Personality:
The first impression is that she's just the little shy girl hiding in the corner. When you first meet her, you can only see the irrational fears that are blocking her true colors from view. Since she was stabbed in the back as a child, that has made her stronger, and made her think about who exactly she wants to give out her trust to. So you'll have to earn it. Once you do, Gwynn is the most loyal friend you'll ever have. She will stick by your side whether your right or your wrong because she doesn't want to be the one that ends up tearing your life apart, as she experienced.
When she gets her mind set on something, it can be hard to get her off track, because she is a very determined girl, and that can make her stubborn. When she can dream it, she can believe it. She really is a sweet girl, she'd do anything to the best of her abilities if you asked her to, and she is a natural born leader. When she is in one of those moods, her talent can turn to the shadows, and she can become very bossy and whiney. She is a natural optimist, she refuses to look at the dark side of the situation when there is always light, which also leads her to arrogance.
Gwynn's only fear is that she'll let someone get too close, then they can turn on her the way her friend did her. That is nothing to dwell on, though, because Gwynn's mindset is on the future. Yes, the future can be very scary, because your plunging into unknowingness, but if you live it the way that your supposed to, then you'll die happy. That's the only hope that Gwynn has. She wants to die happy, with the people that she loves. She has many great traits to her, though sometimes they lead to darker traits within, but of course, you'd never know if you didn't try to be friends with her. Because we all know that Gwynn won't be the one approaching other people until she knows that they'll be there.
History:
Her life hasn't been the easiest. No, not by far. But her life hasn't been the hardest, and every life needs some events that will make you stronger. Gwynn was born in District 7 with a mother, father, and older brother. She leaned on her older brother for most things, whether it be comfort, or help with homework. He was her lifeline when she needed him most, when she had fallen and couldn't get up. Her parents also did help her, they played a big role in her life later on. She had many friends, but she felt like she really didn't belong with them. But, hey, friends are friends, right?Codeword: ODAIR (Finnick! )
No, not exactly. Gwynn was just starting to feel more uncomfortable day by day, like her friends just didn't support her like her brother did. Her brother kind of became her second sun. She looked up to him, as he was a great rolemodel and was willing to help at her call, which is something that is hard to find in anyone. One reaping, Gwynn could feel it in the pit of her stomach. She was going to be chosen. It was only her second reaping and she was going to die in an arena full of nasty kids. The girl was called. Yaa Valarro. Gwynn had let out a sigh, but she still had wondered about the pit in her stomach. Then the boy was called. Deimos Lasner. Deimos. Her brother looked up to Deimos, a lot. Ever since the day he died in the arena, he hadn't spoken a word. Gwynn begged him to speak, to help, to say something, but he wouldn't budge.
A few days later, and he was missing. The officials say he probably ran off somewhere he wasn't supposed to and got killed, and that was what he had deserved. But no matter what the officials said, Gwynn knew it wasn't true, because her brother was better than that. And, she had a feeling in the pit in her stomach. She recovered, slowly. She had leaned on her brother so much that she almost became a side character in her own life story. Without him there, she was a ghost, starting the phase of her shyness. Occasionaly she might speak to herself, but that's about all she does anymore, because she doesn't want to lean on someone she knows she could lose. Because even though your age can volunteer you for the games, nobody can escape death because no one is immune. That is always running in Gwynn's mind, now, putting up her protective walls to defend herself.
