Sponsorship Prices

Heya. So I was just looking at the sponsorship price formula, and yeah I guess it makes sense. But based on the books - and mind you I'm too lazy to find textual evidence - sponsorship prices are supposed to go up exponentially, not in a linear manner. Unless I'm truly stupid, the current formula is linear, and that, in my opinion, should be changed to an exponential formula. I'd suggest that the formula be f(x) = x(1.1)^(d-1), where d is the games day and x is the price of the item day 1.
And please don't think this is me trying to give myself more power in sponsorships because I generally have a lot of site cash. It isn't. This is about making sponsorships later in the games more true what the books said and making it harder to sponsor valuable items later in the games, as it would've been in the hunger games universe.
