Appearance:
Celosia has very gentle features throughout her whole body starting with the smallest dimples she has when she smiles. She has relatively small hands and feet, however, both are very rough and rugged from her constant work in the fields. Her skin is a very light chocolate brown hue almost matching the color of her slightly darker brown eyes. She keeps her rough black hair cut thin and short to help relieve some of the heat from the baking sun she works underneath. When she does not have her tied up high in a bun it falls to just about her cheeks. She has very thin chapped lips along along with thin hardly notable black eye brows that sit above her almond shaped eyes.
Although she has all these quaint and gentle features not all of her is as smooth. For example, she has a very crooked nose due to an accident she got into as a younger child. She also has very jagged scar running the full length of her neck from the bottom of her chin towards her heart. Her left arm is also slightly dismembered in a way due to the unusual way it bends and due to the fact she straighten that arm. One of the last few things about her she is very petite only about 5'1 feet tall. She also only ways a grand total of 97 pounds.
Personality:
Celosia is one of the most caring and sweetest people you will ever meet. She does not have a single mean bone in her body or at least if she does she sure does not show it. Due to this she loves animals and whenever she gets the chance will take one home with her to become her newest pet. However, she isn't just nice and sweet but she is incredibly mature for someone her age due to what happened between her and her parents. This maturity and kindness constantly drive her towards her dream of hoping one day maybe just maybe she can become a doctor like she has always dreamed of.
She is also very curious, she always has to know whats going on with everything. This trait in particular has gotten her in quite the bit of trouble before. From this curiosity forms her urge to be able to travel all around Panem and visit the various districts and see how the others live compared to her. Ever since her she has also had a profound interest in learning. From this she is one of the few kids in district eleven that is actually quite well educated.
A major thing about Celosia is she does not trust people at all ever since what her parents did to her. This has had quite the impact on her because it isolated her so she does not have that many friends. Due to this she is very lonely and bored most of the time. Lastly, she is easily frightened especially when it is dark outside since she has a fear of being killed. All these traits combined create the little girl known as Celosia Norswittle.
History:
Celosia was poor into a very poor family within district eleven. Both of her parents and older brother worked all day in the fields but even that was not enough for a good income. Due to her being as poor as she is she hardly get to bathe so is typically unclean and her clothes are often torn. Her parents were Robert and Nora Norswittle and to most people they seemed kind and hard working people. However, this was not the case at all for instead they were cruel and abusive to their children.
Celosia's older brother, Rodrick, took most of their blunt force in order to protect his sister, however, every time he was beaten or whipped it scarred her. Even though he took most of their evil parents lashings he was not always able to stop them for attacking her. The reason her nose is crooked is one day while working in the fields when she was about nine years old her mother snapped at her for not collecting all the fruit. Celosia tried to apologize to her mother knowing how she was but her mother did not listen and punched Celosia straight in the nose breaking it badly. However, even early in her life was when Celosia got her worst beating. Her father so furious with her for breaking one of his most expensive items found an old coat hanger and heated up in the fire. Then while Celosia's mother held back Rodrick her father held her down with one arm then raked the heated hook down her neck to just above her heart. Now she has a gruesome scar there as a constant reminder of her past.
Luckily, when Celosia was eleven her mother and father were murdered by an unknown gang for a reason still left unsolved. Rodrick being eighteen when this happen began taking care of Celosia and giving her the best life he could. Celosia also suffered from the lose of her parents because she had to grow up faster than all the other kids in eleven. Every day after school and working in the fields she would go home and make dinner then fix both Rodrick's and her torn clothes to the best of her abilities. Rodrick cares for her so much that even though they live in a small shack barely capable of holding them both he welcomes all her new pets she brings home when she finds a new animal alone in the district. Overall she has lived a very long and hard live but now she is happier than ever before.
