Appearance:

Orchid's brown hair frames her sharp, sculpted face she was luckily gifted with. Her features normally blend in with the rest of the kids that fill her everyday life resulting in her spending hours on end hogging the bathroom improving herself any way she can just to stand out from the ever-growing crowd - it's the only thing that keeps her sane. The freckles, however, prove a challenge
                                          Having a height of 4"3 she uses to her advantage (although many remarks of being short from her parents sometimes shadows them). Coming from a family which is surviving and having many luxuries grants Orchid the ability to express herself through her clothing. Her love of fashion doesn't stray her from her passion of coding. Some may even say that the geeky glasses she was forced to wear by her parents gives a pretty strong clue of her hobbies (any opportunity she has she gets ride of them though).

Personality:

Her love of coding and knowledge of Electricity gives others the impression ( a correct one too) that she spends most of her time in her room. Orchid is used to the lonesome life and has even admitted to herself (she tries to be as honest as she can to herself) that she is somewhat a loner. That's alright for her though - means more quiet "thinking time" for her brain to form those electric ideas for her next invention.
Quick thinking and logical ways of perceiving things could have been passed down from her Parents or her inquisitive habits  of exploring the strange rules and regulations that occasionally affect her life around her could be to blame. She tries to stay quiet and her height allows her to tail her cowardly ways of "keeping low and staying unnoticed". Orchid doesn't have many companions - this would just slow her investigations down.  Although the world around her is rapidly changing (she doesn't know this) she is still the meek, little girl who wants to please her Parents inside.
                                               For a child who has such intelligence and determination, Panem's secrets are still yet to be uncovered. There was one time ,when Orchid was 14, when she came close to such a thing during her investigations - yes, she remembers it fondly. How she sneaked out the house long after her Parents thought she was asleep. She bonded fast with the shadows as she ran along the streets, holding her breath as she leaped from one dark corner to another just to evade the Peace Keepers. There wasn't a particular destination she was heading for, nor was there an objective to this defiance of the household rules, she was just letting her personality overcome her actions. But nothing in the world could hint to Orchid where her juicy tid bit of a clue would come from. There were two Peace Keepers - they didn't look like the norm around District 3 though. Just once glance at their uniform and you could tell it was more...armoured than the ones Orchid was used to. Harsher weapons sat upon their belts and their uniform was far from clean. They were talking to two other normal looking Peace Keepers and their speech was barely audible. All Orchid could make out was the mention of the few lower Districts. Her ears twitched - the other Districts was a forbidden topic in their household for some reason. Orchid was so giddy with new information that she ran home, sneaked back into her bed and toyed with the evidence in her head, building up a back story for each and every word.

History:

Orchid is not a traditional name from the District that she is from but her Parents, despite their lighting-bolt life path, have always hung on to that very long time ago when Districts were no longer split up and the grass grew green all over the country now known as Panem. The only way they heard of such a paradise is from the ancestors that came before them. They've had to become accustomed to the District 3's way of life. Learning new skills, getting jobs, becoming friends with other people (Because every friend is a way of climbing up the career ladder). It was such a trial getting to where they are now that they choose to keep their family history secret from their little girl, Orchid.
Orchid's attempted to uncover the secrets her Parents have but every time she seems to fall for the role she was born in to - the innocent Daughter of the Baxwolls'.
                                              Her Parents try to prepare her for work (so Orchid thinks) and teach her the laws of Electricity and how to put this to her use. They don't have to push her much though as her intellect takes over and proves herself useful. She's even helped out with her Parent's projects every now and again.
Their roles are set. Her Parents are used to things being changed and flipped around them but Orchid has yet to experience the full force of the Peace Keepers, Panem's rules and strict structures.

This bio for Orchid is coming along nicely. I really love how inquisitive she is! Just two things:
