Fallow has jet black hair that he styles in many different ways. In his mind, if there are any stray hairs, then his health will stray off of the path of protecting him, so he works very hard on making himself look as proper as possible during the day. His eyes often get compliments from his elderly friends because of their ability to pierce into someone, even though Fallow often has no clue what other people are thinking.

Fallow is approximately 5'6 and he weighs 110lbs. He thinks of himself as being of average size for a boy his age, so he isn't often self-conscious. He enjoys wearing darker clothes, although he'll wear whatever he can get his hands on, seeing as how little money his family has.

Personality:

Fallow is a firm believer in hope, and because of this, he will always think of the brighter side of life, even when everything seems bleak. He honestly believes that one day, the Hunger Games will cease to exist, and then no other children his age will have to die. Whenever he shares his hopes for a brighter world with his friends, they laugh at him and tell him that although his heart is in the right place, his head is miles away from where it should be.

Fallow enjoys smiling, and he can often be found staring into blank spaces with an aloof grin on his face, imagining false worlds where the elderly don't die and a mass of other things that will never happen. He also enjoys reading the few books that are in his District, reading non-fiction books the most because they remind him of a previous world; a world where older people were treasured and not pushed away from the population's thoughts and where children didn't have to fight for their lives in a barbaric arena.

Fallow has a darker side, though. He often lies to people, thinking that if he lies to the people he cares about, they'll think of him as someone who isn't scared of germs and is best friends with old people. He tells people things that are only little white lies, such as the route he took home, but he also lied about getting a new baby sister, having to keep up the lie for years and eventually being found out when one of his school friends wen over to his house and asked where his mother where the sister was. Fallow doesn't really care that people know that he lies.

History:

Fallow is a perky young boy who enjoys spending time with other people. He tends to think that he is the bright star and in dark night that is his District, so he attempts to cheer people up even in their most upsetting of times. Although he can at times appear annoying, most of the elderly in his District enjoy his frequent visits, and normally the only time they can say that they enjoy is when Fallow arrives with his petty presents and his tall tales of adventures he never went on.

Fallow believes that even though he lies to his older friends, it's justified in the sense that they don't have much longer to live. At night time, however, Fallow becomes a very different person. His fears of death are only justified because of how many elderly residents he has seen suffer and die from illness and the Capitol, and now he lives in constant fear. He is always cautious of things that may be dangerous, so his life can be described as bland by some.

When Fallow was very young, his father suffered from an illness that the few doctors in his District couldn't diagnose. The man suffered for years, and eventually died a few months after Fallow's 8th birthday. Fallow believes that if he stays away from germs he'll stay clean and healthy, so he tries his hardest to stay clean, even if that means rubbing himself in the morning dew that appears when his family is out of running water to bathe in.
