Appearance: 

    Sparrow' has a petite figure. Weighing in at 104 and being 5'7'' tall. Her shoulder length, black hair is straight and thin. Her eyes are a dark brown with golden rings circling her pupils. Her skin is a wheat, almost an olive color. Her eyes are an almond shape, slightly slanted upwards on the outsides. Her nose lacks a bridge and almost appears flat. With naturally pale lips, her mouth always curves into an unknowing smile. Although she's been relatively malnourished her whole life, her face appears as though she hasn't quite lost all her baby fat. She has small, quick hands but her skinny limbs leave her clumsy.

       Sparrow's wardrobe consist of mostly brown, tan and navy blue colors. Her everyday outfit of choice is her brown, 

fitted jeans with a navy blue, worn out, button up shirt with elbow length sleeves. She always wears an old beaded

necklace, carved out of wood that used to be her mothers. Her shoes are worn and old. Her toes can be seen through the

several holes. The soles are thin enough for her to feel the gravel beneath her feet. She always leaves her hair down but

will occasionally pin it back on hot days with a bow that used to belong to her mother. 

Personality:

   Sparrow is docile and quiet. She has few friends and mostly only talks to her father. People in her district that don't really know her often mistake her for a mute. She's always had a 'worse case scenario' mind due to her mother passing when Sparrow was only a few months old. But this has also made her sharp and always aware of her surroundings.

     Although quiet, Sparrow is also kind. A silent kind of kind. She wouldn't hesitate to help or assist someone but will

often disappear before she can be thanked. Her father always told her stories of how kind and sweet her mother was, so

Sparrow always strived to be like her mother. 

    Sparrow loves the stars. She'll spend most nights laying outside and just staring. Her father taught her where the north

star was and she's declared it her favorite. They spend time picking out constellations and renaming them. Sparrow renamed the north star, "Wren" after her mother. Sparrow has an unknown spunk to her and there are many different sides to her that she's just too afraid to show people. 

History:

    Sparrow Lux is the daughter of Roy Lux and Wren La'frey. At the time, Roy was twenty and Wren was a young mother, birthing Sparrow at eighteen. A few months after Sparrow was born, her mother was reaped to compete in the 51st Hunger Games. Wren was only a few weeks shy of her nineteenth birthday. Needless to say, her mother did not return from the Games. Sparrow wasn't old enough to have a clear memory of her mother, but her father shares pictures and stories with her often. Sparrow and her father, Roy, have an impeccable relationship. Roy is very protective over Sparrow, willing to do anything to keep her safe. 

    Sparrow has always been exceptional in school. She is extremely smart but has often purposely failed tests due to

bullying from other students. Sparrow excels in arithmetic and science. Sparrow is also quite the cook. It's rare they get

enough of anything for her to produce an actual meal but the times they do, she'll find a way to make it delicious. She

learned this trait from her father who taught her about spices. And her love for science naturally made her want to

experiment with every piece of food they could get their hands on. Sure, they suffered through a few burnt or over

seasons or bland meals but the learning experience took her mind away from the stress of everyday living.

    When Sparrow was seven, she became deathly ill. Her fever could have burned the forest down. She was ready to give

up, but the moment she actually stared death in the face and saw her mothers face in the background, she pushed to stay alive. She survived her illness, which is a rare occurrence, but was left weak. She often stayed sick. Her nose is almost always stuffed up and it gave her a borderline nasally voice.
