Charlie Smith
Age: Eighteen
District: Six
With Bernadette staying in for the night, Charlie quickly takes full advantage of this moment. Not that it doesn't happen often. There's almost always one of the four oldest lacking plans, but being the eldest of them all it for some reason falls on her when the rest are busy. As if she doesn't have a life or something. It's almost makes her regret turning in their father to be sent off for good. Least that dude never had a life and preferred Charlie's absence. Either way she's out of the house within a second. Before Bern has a chance to get a phone call and change her mind as always.
Straight to her friends house as odd as that is. It used to be right to the bar, she's somehow found a friend in this mess of a life though. Someone that shares a high tolerance of alcohol, and same interest in laughing and making fun of everyone else. Only type of person Charlie could get along with, and the same back. "Hurry up Gaby!" She bangs on the door, already assuming she's taking forever in the getting ready process. Just as usual her less attractive younger brother answers the door. How they share the same gene pool is beyond understanding. Surprisingly they do share similar personality traits though, making Josh just as entertaining to be around. Sucks that he lacks in the looks category.
"Going out again?" He questions rhetorically, holding the door open as an invitation. When it comes to chilling at their place, he's always welcomed, not so much going out though. Cramps their style. For anyone else they wouldn't care, but a bit of guilt sets into both girls leaving him behind. It's always obvious when they' plan to, by either dressing down or up, make-up or the simple look.
"Gotta make some money." By now Charlie's in the house and taking a seat on one of the countertops in the kitchen. "She taking forever as usual?" A nod and chuckle is given as an answer from Josh. Usually he doesn't seem to not care about going, this time seems different though. "You should come with us." She decides to go against their prediction they won't make any tips with him around. It's friday night anyways, plenty of people to drool over their voices.
"Really?" He's in complete disbelieve. Finally Gaby's returning downstairs, fully ready to go. As big of an ass holes as both girls are they have a soft spot for the nerdy brother. Hopefully she won't mind either.
"Josh can come with us right Gabs?" Charlie doesn't really give an option in her tone.
"Yeah, why not." And with that they all head out to the bar. Already the drunken party has started, with the pathetic wannabe wasted singers are taking the stage first. The crowd dives deeper into their drinks in attempt to fade out the sound. It only causes for them to tip even better when the good performers come forth.
Before any of that can happen the three head up to the bar, because how can anyone entertain without being a little buzzed themselves? "Three shots each please." Charlie grins proudly at the bartender who's known her since she first started sneaking into this establishment, three years ago when she was a little fifteen year old. Her attention turns over to Gaby's brother. "If you're going to join the big girls, you gotta drink like one." Only way to start off the night is three shots in a row, and quickly her and Gaby do just that.
