{ the voices inside my head ;
They take you to a room once you tell them that you are willing to die. Some look at you with weird expressions on their faces, wandering why a girl like you, one who was frail looking and weak, would take the spot of another in the games that would most likely result with you 6 feet under the ground. You couldn't tell them why, you could say “they mad me do it, the voices they said if I don't they will make me regret it…” who would believe you? Little ol’ you. A girl who has been looked away in the department of the broken, in a hospital for the most of the past few years. No one would believe you, you were on your own. Ruby seemed so distant. She hadn't come to see you yet and you wander weather she hated you, weather she was punishing you.
Heavy doors close behind you, locking you into a room which was extravagant. You are mine now, little lamb, you are going to die now. A voice mocks making you clutch your head with both your hands, your eyes squeezed shut, forcing tears to leak from the corners. They were right. You were king to die. You were finally going to fulfil there endless desires. Sighing, you drop your arms and allow the tears to fall freely. This isn't what you had wanted. You had wanted to live life with Ruby, in the hospital where you knew you were safe, where Ruby could protect you from the voices. But just like a roller-coaster, you have to go down at one stage, you have just reached your stage earlier than you would have liked.
You walk to the only sofa in the room and take a seat, knowing that the next 20 mins or so were going to be lonely, you trapped in your own mind, No one you loved still lived, no one but Ruby. But was she going to come? You didn't know. It hurt to think that she wouldn’t. Ever since the fire she had been by your side, always your protector. Where was she now? You look to your left, expecting to see her there. But she wasn’t. You were on your own, to be devoured by the voices, by their taunting.
