[ SONJA ARCOPELLO ]
Being from district six you were expected to be smart, right? All the smart people came from their, like the scientist and stuff. But unlike all the doctors and nurses and scientist you were not among the smart group, but a left over searching for their own group. A group in which you had found. Back at home that is… but here, in the training centre, surrounded by people who were not either a doctor or a simpleton you found it much harder to find that special group. At home it had been easy, people had basically been shipped over to you, all you had to do was listen to their stories and after that they wanted to know you. But here the people were thinking about slicing your throat open, making it that much harder to bond with.
You had liked your district partner to some extent. He was weird I mean, he told you that he felt nothing for no one meaning that his sense in humanity would be close to zero meaning that was pretty scary. But putting that aside you could relate to him in ways that no one else would be able to, because you knew that he heard them too, he wouldn't admit it, but he didn't have to. You saw it written all over his face.
Your eyes slip over the station which was decorated by some devilish looking silver flesh slicers and your code crinkles and you keep walking. Only once had you stopped by a station that actually involved weapons and that one time you had sliced your hand open, the district one tribute was defiantly not impressed. Not that you cared, that girl was cold, from the tone in her voice to her death stare which you were sure could shoot daggers if she actually tried.
You are tempted to wander over to the fire station, but you think better of it, the last time you saw a fire things had gone pare shaped really quick. Fire was like a trigger for you, one that you wanted to stay away from. It takes you a moment to realise that you have circled back to the weaponry section of the training centre. Shrugging you walk over to the station that contains some dangerous looking double sided axe thingy ma bob. You pick it up and are surprised at how heavy the thing is, “woah.”
You grab the end of the wooden handle and lift the axe up so that it was sitting on your shoulder like a baseball bat might. You got this. Taking in a deep breath you walk over to one of the free dummies. You stare intently at the still human like figure, your eyes narrowing as you stare into its sightless ones. “Sorry, but this might hurt,” you mumble even you know you were going to get no response.
