Brick had had one of those weeks where she wished she wouldn't have to get up the next day from. She'd slept all of 11 hours in the entire week and her family was driving her past the point of insanity. Her Uncle wanted her at the Academy. Her brother wanted her to baby his son, her other brother needed her help with his own issues and her Aunt needed her as well. She was like a chicken with her head cut off but at least she had the money now to buy whatever the heck she pleased. So much work and so little time to do it in. She's finally screamed at her family this morning and found her way back to her little cottage. She had shut herself inside and was not going to come out until she wanted too. After a few hours of reading and a shower she was ready to go out once again. She just needed to be away from work and her family.
Brick walked out of her house and headed for the market place. She wanted to see if they had gotten anything new in the past week and she was going to pick up something to create with her hands if she ever got the time to do that anyways. She continued her walk towards the market smiling at a few of the small children running around their homes. She waved to a few of the parents and then went straight back to doing what she was doing. She entered the market place so lost in her own thoughts that she didn't know where her feet were taking her until she stopped at a stall and the woman who owned it called her by name.
"Sorry Mrs. Travers. I was a bit preoccupied it would seem." "It's alright my dear. What brings you to my stall today. You look beat. I have some tea back here if you would like it." "No but thank you. I was actually here to buy some fabric. What do you have today."[/color] Brick started to look at the bolts of fabric that seemed to have seen better days. It wasn't like they ever got the really good bolts seeing as those usually went to the capitol. Everything went to the capitol. She continued her small talk with the stall owner as she continued to look around asking question about one thing or another. This was how she wished most of her days could be at times. Then again she knew very well that she would go crazy if she didn't work like she usually did.
