Name: The name of my character shall be Ryan Graywood.
Age: 15
Gender: Male
District/Area: District 4
Appearance:
Ryan is a 6' 2'' (tall), boy with a thin, but slightly muscular build. He seems to be a nervous, uncomfortable 15 year old, where on the inside he feels broken, but makes strength and confidence out of it.
Compared to other 15 year old boys of his district, he appears quite normal, although he isn't your average teen. People have started to realize he likes other things than surfing, swimming, and fishing. He enjoys life, and does not wish to volunteer for the games, but the Career-Trainers think otherwise. His body looks like it could work great with the average trident, or even spear. But as others of his district know he's strategic, and prefers throwing knives. He doesn't want to volunteer unless provoked. Although he's strategic, Ryan isn't the best with instincts, yet is okay with basic survival. He has dirty-blonde hair, similar to the sand on the sore of District Four, and has hazel eyes. His skin is slightly tan similar to most others in his district.
Personality:
Shy, yet bold on the inside, he is an honest, strategic boy, and seems to hide his true fierceness to everyone else. Although not arrogant, he lacks 100% self-awareness and acts bravely, but can't handle tragedy that well. Pretty confident with weapons (trained like most others in his district), but not a full-blown cocky career.
He is force to reckon with, which happens pretty often do to the broken state that manages to show through him. Do to the mind given him, he is almost certain to plan revenge, and is successful most of the time. He doesn't fear much besides the games, but if he one glory would give him strength to move on in life.
He is mostly a quiet person, but when situations come up, he is guaranteed to step up. Most view him as a useless person, but he has proven that if he is given time and hope, he could prove quite a valuable one.
History:
His family has only dealt with two major tragedies, but knowing Ryan, it was overwhelming even though he only had to deal with 1. In a family line, 2 deaths had been nothing compared to other families in Panem, but to Ryan it had seemed like 100. Before Ryan was born his great-grandparents started a small fishing business-common to Four-called " Great Hooks".
Soon after having kids (his grandmother included), his grandmother Shelly had married a man, and gotten pregnant at 17. Her husband was called in at 18, and was killed by a 15 year-old district 2 career, and Shelly had gotten depressed. After giving birth to Ryan's Dad, Thomas, and raising him, she committed suicide to her depression.
Soon after Thomas wasn't eligible for the games he got married, and had Ryan. He lived 'till 11, and then his mother suddenly disappeared. They soon realized that she had been shot to death by a peacekeeper because of her bold, kind-heart protecting a young boy from being taken for stealing bread. Their business continued as a slightly successful company, and Ryan never got over it.
