Age: 17
Gender: Female
District/Area: The Capitol
Appearance:
The first thing most people would wonder about Riley upon first meeting is whether she is a male or a female. Her short and disheveled brown hair gives her the appearance of the typical guys in the districts, but yet at the same time, she exerts a gentle grace that makes one hesitate to label her as male.Personality:
To make it more difficult, she appears to have no curves unless one comes up and hug her or something. She stands at 5"9, making her one of the most awkward and gangly, appearance-wise, female (or person) in Panem. It is a common sight for one to see Riley adjust her square-rimmed glasses as it is always slipping down her nose.
Despite repeated advices from everyone, whether from the 'your eye color is too plain’ or ‘gets contacts, it's better' party, she refuses to trade them for contacts because she is partial to the daily routine of her glasses troubles. She wears a crisp green dress shirt with a loose brown sweater over it and cargo pants. She carries a black messenger bag with her essential items, namely, her laptop and electronic notepad.
It's hard to say if she is quiet or talkative. Well, talkative has to be out of the question because she is mute, but of course, no one knows that she isn't since she has hid it so well. She communicates through an electronic notepad, making it hard for most to determine her thought process, especially if one accounts the fact that her face seems to be set in a pensive expression.History:
She seems to exhibit some traits of kleptomania, wanderlust and obsessive compulsive disorder. Getting along with people can be her Achilles’ heel, she is not particularly close-minded, but she is argumentative and stubborn.
Much to her chagrin, she is a notorious liar and sometimes it is not by choice. Her brain is set to lie, or so she explained to herself.
She is also a capable, but reluctant leader, only stepping up when others are unable to get the job done. Above all else, she hates incompetency and inefficiency with a vengeance. Although Riley is more of a brains over brawn person, her method of defending is very much existent. She is capable of lashing out kicks and punches (a futuristic version of capoeira perhaps?) and once you add her knowledge of the anatomy into the equation, you have one deadly foe.
Riley’s mother is a stylist, so whether she likes it or not, she knows a lot about the Hunger Games than she cares to know.Codeword: muttations
Regardless, she doesn’t favor or hate the Capitol so her life lacks a purpose and meaning, which leads her to be somewhat of a bored and tortured genius at the same time.
Little is known of her father.
She is one of the programmers for the Hunger Games and when that’s not taking up her time, she strives to learn about everything she can.
Ever since she was little, the jabberjays has always been her friend, a trait that she has inherited from her now deceased father, or so said her mother.
It is partly how she survived when her mother takes her on trips to other districts (she has a tendency to wander). The birds inform her of what they see and she would devise a plan based on that.
As of currently, one of her projects is to work on a device that allows her to communicate with the jabberjays, using the birds’ language.

I have run this through spell check and attempted to check for mistakes several times. If you find anything out of place, please correct me. I also apologize if my information is all over the place.
