A Late Night Suprise/Cameo

Dimitri crouched in a back alley way waiting. The crisp snow feel on him as he waited in the shadows Having on a black wife beater, and steel toed boots, and a mask covered in blood he was not out to make friends. He had been gone for awhile due to the fact of a attack done on him. It was time for a bit of revenge. These people had been people he had fought with at the training center jumped him in the locker room. I guess they thought he dead since they threw him in this exact alleyway. But he had heard that the main ring leader in his attack would be walking home past this alley. Perfect time for pay back like he had showed the others who attacked him. There blood clung to his mask as he left them beaten bad. After a little while he saw the man walking and made his move. He dragged the man by his collar into the alley. He kneed him in the gut before throwing him to the ground. He then started to kick him in the ribs. His steel toed boots smashed into his ribs as the man clutched his sides. Dimitri looked down at the man he began to speak. "Yeah that feel good? That's why you check your work before you leave it. You broke my ribs, arm's, and one of my legs. But you did not kill me you should have. Maybe you would not be like this." Dimitri reeled his foot back and kicked the man in the face. Dimitri spit on him as he smiled. He heard a noise behind him. A witness maybe? Dimitri turned around and saw a figure in the darkness. He yelled out "Who is there?"

"You're the chick that's friends with the one that's been screwing with us!" A random dude shouts from across the street. At first, he's no one to Ruthless. She's made too many enemies to keep track of them all; but to have some due to a supposed friend of hers, doesn't ring any bells. Either way the three of them come sprinting towards her, and as always she doesn't budge in the least. Last thing she's going to do is ruin her reputation, especially from three dudes that already appear half beaten. Looks like she has a pretty powerful friend.

Arms cross in front of her chest as she waits for them to near. "Not sure what you're talking about, but it looks like someone had it out for you." She jokes with a coy grin. Once a couple feet away she can see past their cuts and bruises, capable of recognizing her new encounters. That's right, a few months ago she watched some dude make a fool out of them. Seems he wasn't quite finished then. "Oh, it's you guys." She greets as if they were all long time friends.

They don't particularly see it that way though, grabbing hold of the Blonde without another warning. "Nice to see you all to." Ruthless smirks and attempts to free herself. The grip is too harsh, and even so she can't outwit them all.

"Come on, let's stop this once and for all." Another growls as they shove her forward. There's no telling what's it store.

It's too dark to see everything clearly, but she can hear the sounds of knuckles carving into someone. "Yo Dimitri, we have someone for you!" The same guy as before calls out. "Leave us the hell alone, or your friend here pays!" He threatens while keeping Ruthless glued to his front.

Dimitri walks out of the alley way dragging the knocked out man by his neck. When he reaches the street he drops him. He then points to the group. "You....Guilty" Dimitri looks down and stomps on the back of the mans head. The man is now surely dead. Dimitri looks up as the men as two charge at him while one still holding the women. The first one tries to throw a roundhouse punch to his head. Dimitri ducks before grabbing the mans legs and takes him down. The second man swiftly follows up and grabs Dimitri off the guy. Dimitri sees that the man had a small metal pipe. The man swung it wildly before Dimitri moved in and trapped his arm. With a swift head butt he sent him to his knees. He then in a quick motion snapped his arm before kneeing him in the chin. As the man fell the first man had gotten up punched Dimitri in the back of the head twice. Dimitri fell to his knee for a second before rolling out of the way of the third punch coming to the back of his head. Dimitri looked up as the man started charging at him. Thinking fast Dimitri picked up the pipe the man dropped and slammed it into the charging mans gut. While the man clung over in pain. Dimitri stood up and delivered the final blow to the back the mans neck sending him down. Dimitri looked back at the man who at this point had her in a choke hold with what looked like a knife to her throat. That's when he recognized her. It was Ruth his one night fling, and only real friend. He would not let her get hurt. As he got closer the man pressed the knife closer to her throat "Hey...Hey...Hey back off fucker unless you want her dead." The man nervously said. Dimitri tilted his head to the side as the last of what he felt like his sanity fled as he just saw red. He not only tired to kill him, but was know gonna try and kill Ruth. Dimitri with a loud, animal like growl threw the metal pipe through the air at him.


The pipe made a loud thud as it hit the man in the head. Dimitri quickly ran up to him as he let go of Ruth to hold his head. He pushed Ruth out of the way not hard but enough to get her moved as he jumped in the air and lunged on the guy bringing him to the ground. Straddling his waist he grabbed his shirt and start to bounce his head on the concrete"YOU MESSED WITH MY MIND." A sharp right hit the mans face as he laid under Dimitri "YOU THREATEN THOSE I CARE FOR." A left punch met the mans face as Dimitri's knuckles began to bleed. "YOU TRIED TO KILL ME." The man then smirks at Dimitri and in a low voice says "Tried?" Then Dimitri felt the knife that was still in the mans hand pierce his shoulder. Dimitri growled even more as he grabbed the mans hand in a death grip and yanked out the blade. Dimitri then running on pure adrenaline, and started to press against the now once again terrified mans. After pressing the knife back to the front of the two Dimitri was still fighting for it. Even though he had beaten the man he still but up a fight. Dimitri then reached down and punched the man in the eye. This gave him enough time to grab the knife from the man's grip and place it to his throat. The man began to murmur under now tears to not die. Dimitri smirked under the mask. "I wont kill you like your boss. But since you threatened my friend, and stabbed me you will never walk again." Dimitri quickly stood up and started to stomp on the mans kneecaps. After a few minutes of hollering from him the deed was done. All the men besides the dead ringleader were passed out. The knife wielder would indeed not walk again, or at least awhile. Dimitri dropped the knife as he face the carnage he had caused. "Debt...paid." He said in a low horse voice

Who would of thought that a minor incident in the career gym could result in something like this. Okay, maybe it's not that surprising since these are careers being talked about. But to drag someone else into...another thing that's not too shocking, simply annoying. Even more so when a cold blade gets brought to Ruthless's neck because no one wants to cooperate. It's difficult to concentrate on anyone at this point, though the loud ruckus tells it all. Suddenly the guy keeping her hostage is shaking, and his threatening words are begging to get out of this unharmed.

That metal carves into her fare skin before she gets shoved off to the side. Feels like he wanted to stretch that slice further but got interrupted, thankfully to since it probably saved Ruthless. Her hand presses against the cut as she curls up again the wall. More chaos consumes her ears as her eyes attempt to focus on the scene. Somehow all of Dimitri's enemies are upon the ground, either passed out or dead. It's almost scary as he never seemed this way a few months back. Something's dramatically changed, and Ruth is unsure how to feel about it.

"What the hell was that?" She questions with a crackly tone, leaning against the wall for support.

Dimitri turned and looked at Ruth. His eyes showed a whole story. They were bloodshot, and intense looking. But also a look of sorrow to Ruth. He spoke in a low, horse voice "They.....After the brawl they attacked me in the locker room. Beat me, and destroyed my body. Broke my bones, and maybe my mind. They left me in this exact alley. When I awoke I was barely alive. I manage to get home. I recovered on my own so they would still think I was dead. I'm back and now....Now its done. But I almost got you killed that...I could never live with myself if they hurt you..." Dimitri reached up and felt the blood coming out of the knife wound. It pored out of the wound and began to drip on the ground. He started to feel a little light headed. He went down to a knee before getting back up. He then started to stumble back down the alley. The thought of almost hurting Ruth killed him. She should not she the monster he had became. He took his wife beater off and tied it to his arm so he would not leave much of a blood trail. Only a little dropped at the attack and the men would most likely not able to remember much. His apartment was nearby. He thanked god he had no neighbors, and that there were no cameras if he used the window. As he kept stumbling he made his way to his apartments first floor window. . He pushed it in as he fell to the floor. So this was it he thought this was where I may die. Leaving window visibly open he managed to stand and make his way to the counter. He grabbed on top of it to steady himself as blood leaked on his floor. He then moved into the kitchen where he kept something like this in case of a scenario like this. A knife was placed under a burner on the counter. He quickly grabbed it and steadied his arm. He moved the shirt away and blood started to pore again. He figured that it was not a major artery but still he had to fix it. He took off his mask and set it next to him. He then placed the shirt in his mouth. He then counted to three and pressed the white hot blade to his arm. He cried out into the shirt as the metal cauterized his flesh. After a minute he pulled the blade away. The bleeding had stopped, and the wound was closed. His arm caked in dry blood, along with his body, and pants. He then looked at the mask laying next to him. The mask was pointed at him, as if staring at him. "Its over...Its finally over....No more nightmares....No more headaches...But I still hurt her...Maybe I lost to much blood...Maybe I'll just die....Better for her....My only friend..." His head still felt light as he leaned it against the counter. Judgement was done but at what price? He had almost gotten the only thing closest to a friend killed. He had become a monster. He saw how she looked at him. And so he sat there against the counter. Staring into space. He doubted god would kill him here. No that was to easy. He would pass out from the pain and wake up tomorrow. He thought Ruth may have followed him. If she did it was not hard to figure out where he would have gone. Hell she his apartment, and the window was wide open. But these were just thoughts as he stared off. Pain still rung through his body but he did not show it.

A valid reason for attacking these guys is spoken from Dimitri. If Ruth hadn't been dragged into in such a way, she'd completely support his desire for revenge. Hell, she'd probably assist him. But instead she has a nice slash upon her neck, and the blood seeping from it has all of her energy and willpower fading away. Somehow she manages to listen to him though, talking about how he apparently cares deeply for her. Then he stumbles up and away, without even offering for her to go with him. His care is greatly visible.

For a long moment she leans against the wall to collect herself. Her hand pressed against her cut in attempt to stop the bleeding. What should she do? Going to the hospital is out the question, that'll cause to many problems. Journeying home is just as risky, even she'd even make it there. Sloppily she maneuvers to her feet and tries to follow Dimitri.

Cautiously she crawls through the window that she's pretty sure he went into, plus it looks familiar from a few months ago. She finds him sprawled out on the floor, clearly in pain as well. "Have a first aid kit?" She cuts straight what she needs, gesturing to her hand on her neck that's already covered in red.

Dimitri stood up using the counter for support. He grabbed a metal box sitting on the counter. He ripped it open and pulled out a syringe. He limped over to her and quickly moved her hand away from her neck. He then injected the syringe next to the wound. He imagined it probably hurt like hell but it would help. After a few seconds the blood stopped flowing out of the wound. Dimitri through the syringe to the side. "That drug will leave you with no scare in a day, or two. Right now that wound is healing it self. It cost a lot of money to get. Thought I may need it during my crusade. But since I'm done with it....There is no point anymore. Dimitri felt the pain increase as he went down to one knee letting out a animal like growl. Why could he not just die? That was the point he finished his job. He moved to his couch and sat there leaning back and breathing heavy. "You know when they left me in that alley way I was ready to meet my maker. But I heard them talk as I laid there. They said they were gonna come for you. Do....things to you then kill you. I could not let that happen so I set out to kill them. I expected to die on the way. But some how I lived. I don't know. I got you hurt that was kills me. I left you there. I don't know why I did what I did in that alley. I guess I was just trying to get away from the pain. But now we are here. I don't know if I am okay but maybe that's for the best. I have to say though even though there dead its not over entirely. A new crusade will begin as there are bigger people involved in this.

At first hesitation and retrieval is her first instinct when seeing a needle. She's been in that predicament before, in desperate need of medicine, to only get fooled with an hallucinogen. Something about this boy is so innocent though, pure. And after a second she finally allows her hands to be removed and for help to be given. It stings like hell at first, but it doesn't effect her vision or control in the least. Eventually a smile even plays on her lips as she feels the effects working. Capitol shit, wonder how this kid got a hold of it.

"Thanks." Ruth whispers out after he finishes explaining the shot's purpose. Can't believe he wasted such a valuable thing on her. Even if he didn't want it for himself, which judging by his pained face he should, a product like that is worth loads on the streets. She leans against a wall as he travels to the couch, curious to what's going on.

Apparently he was ready to face death until the guys threatened to attack her next. "How heroic." She mutters, far from interested in ever being saved.

To make matters even more interesting, this isn't the end to it either. Is he trying to get her involved again? Sappiness over how he cares about her, so she'll be obligated to stay? A heavy sigh comes from her lips. "Of course there is." She jokes with a shake of her head. "Nice mess you got yourself into, so what's you'r plan?"

Her words 'How Heroic' stung like a million needles. He stood up and walked to the kitchen, He opened up a cupboard and pulled out a clean long, curved machete. Putting it on the counter. He then picked up his mask and set it next to it. "I'll tell you what I will do." He set the machete on the counter. "I'm gonna find them, cut there heads off, and mount them on a pike!" He slammed his fist down hitting a bottle laying on it's side. The bottle shatters leaving a few pieces of glass in his hands. He looks at it but not with his eyes that were just a second ago filled with sorrow. His eyes were now filled with hate. They showed a burning flame just beyond the surface, and so much rage. He smirked a bit as his hands leaked a little blood. He then set it down on the table as if nothing happened. "You see Ruth I'm not heroic in any form. What you just saw was the old me that came back out some how. No, no, no I am new, and better then that. You see I knew from just how you use to look at me, and how you looked at me now that I was soft, weak even. Your not the only one either. You see while I laid here after the beating in recuperation I learned that things I use to believe in like kindness, justice, and fairness are just words. You see I did go after them out of a last self respect to stop them from hurting you. If you had gone farther and I was not there you would be dead. You may think your self a bad ass but those are just words."

Dimitri walked back out in the living room not even giving her a passing glance. A little blood trickled from his hands but he could clean that later. "I saw how they had you. You could not escape if you tried. You see I think of it like this. You started my transformation think of me saving you as a thank you." Dimitri shook his head at the floor walking back into the kitchen. He opened another cupboard and grabbed a bottle of hydrogen peroxide. He walked over to the sink and began to pick out the glass from the bottle. Not showing any care with a few grunts he yanked the pieces out and threw them back . He then pored the peroxide on his wound. A hiss came from his mouth as bubbles started to form on the cuts. Dimitri looked down at his hand. "You see the first one I found was the watchman to make sure no one came looking for me. I found him jogging in a park. I dragged him into the bushes by his neck and started beating him. I was gonna let him go but I remembered that they showed me no mercy. No ever had why should I? I snapped his neck and left him there. They found him a week later."

Dimitri then looked at her rage still burning. "Can't you just fucking see the fact that I did this to protect you?! I had to sink back into my old self just to do it. No one ever gave a damn about me. Not you, not them, no one! You see there deaths brought me joy. But then I saw you, I saw you held captive most likely about to be killed, and I saw you hurt. My old self came slithering back out thinking you gave a damn about me. I could have left you there and came back another time but I did not for you! Only when I heard your sarcastic words did I finally decide to break free. You see were the only person I ever met that seemed to give a damn. But I was wrong you see. You never cared about me. Hell maybe you wanted to see me suffer just like them. But you see part of me still wants to think you really did give a damn about me. But I'm the more rational side that thinks that was shit!" Dimitri then sits down at the counter. The look of rage subsides a bit but is still there as he leans down and rubs his non hurt hand over his shaven head. Then in a more calm voice says. "This is my new life. No mercy, no kindness, only destruction. I will show one last act of kindness and that will be to you before I fully take control of my mind. Maybe my old side wants back out. If you wish to leave you may and you will never see me again ever. You can live as you see fit. You, and this world have begun to unleash a beast. This....is all I can offer you. I'm sorry for what I use to be." Dimitri does not even bother to look back at her. He sits there feeling all sorts of emotions from both sides. Angry,sad,vengeful. But most of all agony.

"Sounds like a great way to get yourself killed." Ruth finds no need to cut around the bush for this matter. The plans that Dimitri has are pure stupid, and they're going to land him straight into the Detention Center for the rest of his life. Perhaps a few minutes ago she was willing to join up and help, but she's far from it now. She has no interest in a death sentence. They're careers, and though they're trained to murder, this district is far from an arena to go crazy in. Might save him in the games, but it'd certainly get him killed out here.

He claims to not be a hero, then goes off on a rampage on how he saved her. This boy is beyond confusing, aren't all males though? That thing between their legs is just a second stupid brain. As fro Ruth her lips stay together to give him a chance, there's usually always some sort of reason behind every brilliant idea...or there isn't. That's always cool to. "Look, I'm grateful that you protected me. But i'm a foster kid and a career. I don't care about anyone." She sets out the truth no matter how painful it may be for him. She can't lie though, provide false information to bring his hopes up. If he's going to go bat shit crazy, she's unable to stop him.

"And you're a career to, aren't you?" She questions, with the smallest urge to prevent whatever he has in store. It'd be a shame to see a friend get locked up. "We're trained to kill, that doesn't mean we always have to. If you want to ruin your life and get thrown in the detention center over some kids, have at it," Arms cross in front of her chest while she waits for the outcome of her words.

Dimitri looked at her. An amused smirk on his face. "You think the detention center scares me?" Klaus stands up and turns his body to her. "You think any thing they could do to me in there could match the pain I feel every day?" Dimitri looked at her and laughed a bit. Then gets a serious look on his face. "You see your right we are trained to kill. But you see who I kill is up to me. They gave me the tools I'm just using them. I figure by the time I'm done I'll be dead from the arena, thugs, the authority's, or if they don't do it." Dimitri points at himself. "I will" Dimitri picked up his machete and walked over to a window and opened the blinds. The night filled with stars as the snow falls on the ground. He looks up into the sky. "Every day I see images flash before my eyes. Maybe I should tell you a story. My parents gave me everything I wanted except love. My dad was a drinker and showed me what he thought was love in other ways. He beat me every day sometimes worse then others. The scare on my stomach he caused with a knife when I accidentally broke a glass. I ran away when I was 14. I then found out stealing was a better way to get by then working. Now here I am a killing machine. Don't you see? The end goal for me is death. There is no happy ending like the story's. There is only death for me. No one cares anyways. I figured though that this pain will either go on for awhile until I finally get killed, or I could quicken the process." As he gazed up into the sky the machete slipped from his grip. It landed on the floor with a small sound. He liked watching the stars. Thinking of other worlds and maybe a place better then this.


After a minute he began to speak again "You know something this vendetta I carry is one that I know will grant me death. I know the minute I continue that I will either be killed, or caught. Maybe I just don't care anymore I don't know. But then again when you have no one who cares, no family, no friends." He then turned to her. "What do I have to lose?" He looked down at the machete on the ground. It's clean surface made it shine a bit in the moon light. He then looked down at the ground in front of him. He then in a low voice spoke"Why should I care? Why should I not go out in a blaze of glory? I'm sure you want to know my plan. My final plan. It's not that complicated to be honest rather simple. In a few days there will most likely be a funeral for the men I killed. The one guy who had a knife to your throat had a brother named Lucius. He was the main man in my attack but when he heard of me coming back he went into hiding. Now he will most likely not be in the open for long since he mostly lives in the shadows. This however will make him appear looking for revenge. He will come out of the shadows with a group of people looking for me. There highly trained careers that act like his bodyguards I guess. I'll send a long a message to meet a certain spot to fight me to the death. Then I will fight him and if I have to his goons. I will then either die, or I will kill him. Then....." He looked up at the night sky. That was it the last part of the plan. One last life to take before there was no more left that had hurt him. "Then I don't know.....My purpose for months while I recovered was to kill them all. But if I do live and he dies. Whats left? The Arena? Maybe but I will still carry the pain. Detention center? Not probable they will blow the deaths off in the alley as random, and they will never find Lucius. So what after?" Dimitri looked down at the machete and picked it up. He held it so that moon shined more on the blade. "I don't know....I just don't know. This last quest will most likely end in death anyways. But if I don't go after him now he will slip back in the shadows disappointed he could not find me but alive. Could I do that? Leave the man who tried to kill me alive? Urgghh I have to stop letting him back out. He must die then we will too to end the pain." Dimitri placed a hand on his head as a burning feeling started to take over as his old self, and new self fought for control. One fought for reason, the other for vengeance. He let out a animal like growl as he hit a knee quickly before getting back up. He then leaned against the wall and slid down it until he was against the floor. Breathing heavy he sat the machete next to him and grabbed his head. This went on for minute before it stopped and his head rested against the wall. His eyes showed no rage like a second ago, nor care that he had around Ruth before. Instead his eyes were dead. No emotion, no care, nothing but just a gaze. He then looked at Ruth and with his right hand picked up the machete and slid it too her. He then looked back into his trance like gaze. He then spoke in a more clear voice. "Do it Ruth. End me before I do what one side wants to do. Ruth I know I'm fucking crazy. I know I hurt you by getting you involved. You said you did not care so its perfect. I won't kill myself to weak. You feel nothing and are trained to kill so this should be easy. Your a foster kid, and a career like me..... I know you don't care but just make it fast." His voice at the end grew fainter. He hated that he could not be loved, hated that no one cared. Ruth said she was a killer so at least maybe she could grant him this. He tilted his head to the side. Perfect blow for a quick kill. If he died he would be granted freedom but a cheap one. He closed his eyes and hoped it was painless. But if not if spared maybe something better come out but these thoughts did not feel like his own
