IPHIGENIA ROXEN
SEVENTEEN & DISTRICT FOUR & FEMALE
SEVENTEEN & DISTRICT FOUR & FEMALE
She got that kind of face
That you would only see on an angel
A body that looks good to me
From every angle

The night sky was lit up with a million stars. Some nights they were not visible at all. Right now, could see every single one of them. I stared at them from my bedroom window, it was sort of hard to sleep, with that much light from outside. Mom and Dad seem to be sort of missing, and everyone else is somewhere doing something. Probably the younger ones are asleep but the rest not. I’s one of the few times we can “bond” and act like we are somewhat of a family. I believe that we still hate each other, deep down inside we hate each other so much. Or we just don’t get along, that is the very minimum.
The others can take their time fooling each other, but I have better stuff to do than play pretend. I have places to go, and a real family. They might not be related to me, but at least they know me. At least they don’t hate me. I swing my legs carefully out of the bed, as I place my bare feet carefully on the cold floor. I turn to the wooden box, that serves as my closet and pull out some warmer close. Quietly I put the white socks and black everything else on. The box made a small creak as I carefully shut the lid. I silently thanked ripred that my bedroom was on the first floor. It made it thousand times easier to sneak out at night. I pushed the window upwards to open it, and sat on it. I pushed myself of, landing feet first on the pavement. It sort of hurt my feet when I landed, but there are prices you have to pay if you want to get what you want.
I started to walk towards the district square, towards my old home. Before coming to the Roxens household, I lived in an old alley near the district square. I lived there with my gang, they raised me. It was like having 20 siblings, then came to the Roxen’s and it turned out I latterly did have almost that many siblings. The difference was I liked my old family and hated the new. The streets in the district were completely empty. There wasn’t another soul to be seen. You could hear the crickets chirp, and rats rattling the cans, but you couldn’t see a thing.
