The hustle and bustle of the open market makes Heya nervous. Not being in the safe confines of her home, her castle, her realm, for the first time in what seems a millennia, but in actuality is at most a week. But her mother does always say, "It's a battlefield outside. Be careful." And Heya is being as careful as possible. Her mother's message holds close, and finally, finally, she takes her first solo steps into the market. Without Heya's father watching over her, without Heya's mothers hand on her shoulder, just all alone, Heya and the world, with no walls.
A quick glance left or right show the worry on her face, not just a quick panic, but worry is etched over her face. But like a veil, she hides it away with a smile, natural looking, but utterly false, her heart too big for the cavity inside, pushing against her chest. Heya stops at a shop, a bakery. A couple of coins lighter, and several loaves heavier, Heya goes to head home. Away from the battlefield and into the castle, towards Heya's realm where she's the ruler of the land.
And then CRASH! The stone floor greeted Heya down, and the bread bounces along the ground. Her mother would shake her head at Heya for falling over. And then Heya saw another person on the floor, who she knocked over. Heya winces and walks over towards the girl on the ground. "I'm so, so sorry. Did I hurt you?" Heya picks up her bread, and walks back over to the girl. The smile on her face falls, the worry seeping back all too fast. Heya's father does always say that Heya's worrying makes her look weak, but she can't help it can she? "Do you want help up?"
