Spence has ashen blonde hair, long-ish with bangs that falls down to his eyes, which are an icy blue shade. He is caucasian, with pale skin although he is often outdoors and slight freckles. He has an oval shaped face, with a clearly defined jaw. His eyes are big in proportion to his face. There is a long scar running down the left side of his face, caused by an accident when he was 7 years old. He usually shows no emotion in his face.
Spence is small and very scrawny for his age, barely 5 feet 1 tall and 90 pounds. He is built slightly, with narrow shoulders, long legs and ribs showing through. His size makes him fast on his feet, stealthy and agile, but being in the district of lumberjacks who needs to be strong, his size and skinny build is a big disadvantage. Although he is scrawny, he is more wiry than frail and delicate, but he dislikes the fact that although most of his siblings are strong and tall, he is small and thin. He is not very good with axes, but his small size makes it easy for him to climb through trees and move from tree to tree like a shadow.
Spence usually dresses in dull colors and he never goes anywhere without his black hooded jacket.
Personality:
Spence is painfully shy, never being able to speak up. He is the type of introverted boy who will huddle in the corner of the room and not say a thing until it was time to leave. He doesn't talk much, and when he does he struggles to maintain eye contact and his voice in barely audible. He is a true loner, unlike most of his siblings.
Spence will appear indifferent, cold and emotionless, unable to connect well with others and sympathize. Although he may appear like that, he just wants to be nice, but he doesn't know how. He doesn't know how to talk to people, to make them listen, to look like he cares, to be nice, he just couldn't. He always think he isn't good enough, because of how different he is to his family.
Spence may seem timid, but inside he is brave and very determined. Once he sets a goal, he will never give up and he will always try his best to work to these goals, even if everyone thinks it is impossible. He will do anything to protect his family, although he is the youngest in the family. He is also somewhat intelligent and a good listener. He is very logical and doesn't really think about his emotions.
Flaws: Has trust issues, cannot be empathetic.
Backstory:
Spence has 4 older brothers. Ashton, at 19, Bracken, at 17, Foster, at 15 and Sage, at 14. He has one older sister, Raven, 16 years old. Because of his large family, he is often hungry and sometimes neglected. His siblings are all confident, outgoing and happy-go-lucky, making him the odd one out. His mother died when he was 8, his father worked for long times so they can have enough food to eat.
Among his siblings, he is the one that his father overlooks the most. He is almost invisible at home. He is small and skinny, already a bad thing because lumberjacks should be strong. He is shy, but the rest of his family are outgoing. He doesn't know how to talk to people, but the rest of his family are extremely social. He appears cold, the rest of his family are passionate and warm. THe odd one out.
Spence spent most of his time in the woods where he's supposed to be, hidden under trees or up in trees, watching everything happen below trees. Often he'll spend hours sitting up in a tree, silent, thinking. To him, the woods are better company than people. He had befriended several birds, and he find animal more trustworthy and easier to talk to than his family.
