Why good morning. I've heard you have a few questions to ask me? Please do, then, and let's begin.

How do I look, you ask? It's hard to talk about myself, but I'll do my best. Let's begin with my face.

We'll start at the top. My chest-length hair is currently dyed different shades of purple, but I change it quite often. There are so many options, how could I be limited to one hair color? Sometimes it's blue, sometimes I experiment with something natural like black, it just depends on my mood, really.

However, it would be impossible to see my hair without my eyes. They are a dull, bluish gray, accented with thick lashes I have extended with surgery many times (what it takes to be jaw dropping these days). I decide against using contacts, my eye shade seems good enough on its own.

My eyes aren't the only thing on my face, obviously. Even someone like me knows that. Above my eyes are my perfectly waxed, dark colored eyebrows. They are my natural hair color, I'm not so ridiculous as to shave them off. But below my eyes is my small, slender noise, with a bridge that's perfectly straight all the way to the tip. This part of my face I have done multiple surgeries on, more than my eyelashes, but let's not talk about that.

One of my favorite things on my oval, dark tanned face is my lips. They're thin, but I like them best that way. They are a soft, tickle me pink, but I often enhance them with lipstick.

My shoulders and hips are naturally wide, and I hate to admit it, but I am a bit chubby! I try to watch my weight, but there are so many delicacies in the Capitol. Besides, being chubby has its perks! My hands and feet are quite big, but with my full time job as a makeup artist, I haven't found time to get surgery on them. 

I suppose that would be it for appearance... Do you have any more questions?

Hmm, my personality.. That's a tough one, but I'll try.

Ever since I was a child, my parents have taught me that the Hunger Games are something to look forward to every year, that the tributes are simply smarter versions of animals that disobeyed us years ago. I believe every word if it, who would even want to be alive if they couldn't have opportunities like mine in the Capitol? And as for them being teenagers, that matters little to me. It's highly unlikely a twelve year old will be sent into the Games, because of how the Reaping works. If little district teenagers are sent to the Games older than twelve, then they're old enough to fiend for themselves.

Even though I support the Games because of how I was raised, it still hurts when I see something like a lower District girl yelling for her sister when she's reaped, or the tributes even crying makes me want to cry too. I don't know why, sending them into the Games is the equivalent of sending beta fish to kill each other. It doesn't hurt anything important, that's what I was taught. But it hurts me, and I'm not even there.

How about more on my actual personality? I'm good at making myself pretty, but that's about all I'm good at. I'm not a very bright woman, really. However, I'm smart enough to know that intelligence isn't necessary in the Capitol. I tend to trust easily, because who could be out for me? I'm quite skilled in doing make-up, in fact it's my job. Not for tributes, but for movies or photoshoots around the Capitol. It's not steady work, but I have my family's money to support me. They're happy to help, I'm sure. At least, I think they are...

But never mind that! Since we're on the subject of my family, let's talk about my history.

I was born into a family of four, my parents and my two brothers, on March 2nd. We were one of the richer families, and I loved growing up in a large house. There was plenty of money on the side for us, and our parents let us get one new thing every year. I always asked for books, but my father said women weren't supposed to be smart, only pretty. It hurt, being told that I was wrong, that the only reason I was alive was so I could be eye candy. But for some reason I believed him as a child, and even now, I make myself what everyone wants me to be. Shallow and dumb and beautiful.

That's what I'm supposed to be, right?

I had many boyfriends throughout my schooling years, following the trend my father taught me that I was useless if I wasn't helping a man, although I never felt anything for them. However, if I ever got into an argument with my boyfriend, I would let him win immediately win. Because I'm female, and if I'm disagreeing with a boy, I'm wrong, I'm always wrong.

Wrong.

When I was twenty, my mother presented me an opportunity with a small Capitol magazine that needed a makeup artist. I put on makeup in my day to day life, but I was never interested in much as a job. But in my lifelong attempt to become the wonderful opposite of feminist everyone wants me to be, I accepted, and it's what I've been doing ever since.

Maybe you noticed I've been pretending this whole time, pretending to be shallow and dim, pretending to be what people want. Maybe I don't know what I'm saying. Maybe they're right and I am stupid. Maybe I'm only here for everyone else. I don't know.

Now that you know me, I need to put back on my mask.
