Appearance:
Mythos is a pretty handsome guy. He has dark skin with a light tint to it, giving it something along the lines of a sheen. His body seemingly has no pointed edges or for that matter anything ending abruptly. Every limb, side, and surface of his body slopes and curves elegantly. Even his chin, which nearly comes to a point, rounds out. For some reason, Mythos doesn't like this about himself very much. He thinks it makes him appear feminine. So in response to this, he tries to work out frequently to build muscle. He thinks it gives him a more masculine appearance. He isn't tall, but he isn't short. He has just the average height of a male, but sometimes that makes him feel short, because working around large animals often gives one the impression of being smaller than they truly are.
Mythos' face is incredibly intricate, but simply laid out. He has a teardrop shaped face, but as stated earlier, his chin rounds out. There are two little indents where his cheeks are, because his cheekbones protrude from the sides of his face, just under his eyes. His eyes are a dark brown, which stick out when one looks upon his face. He has a large mouth, with bright pink lips and clearly defined white teeth. His nose is relatively flat to his face, but is very wide, and from nostril to nostril is probably about two thirds of the length of his mouth. His hair is relatively long and brown. It sits atop his head in what would almost be called a bowl cut, but extends down his neck and his bangs are shaggy, not clean cut. They also partially cover his thick, dark brown eyebrows.
Personality:
Mythos is very much so an extrovert. He could talk someone's ear off if they'd let him. Whenever he's asked what he likes to talk about, though, he could never give a straight answer. Because honestly, he just loves talking. He'll talk about any subject of any kind. He particularly loves to debate, but he backs out of them as soon as things get heated. He hates confrontation and he's not afraid to admit it. He hates confrontation, though, only because he's scared that it will make him lose friends. And in his eyes, friends are the most valuable things out there. Not only do they make you laugh and spend time with you, but they give you connections.
And connections are another thing that Mythos is all about. He thinks that the more connections you get, the higher your social status is. Because of this, he tries to be as nice as possible to everyone because he knows that someone who has no power in high school, may be your boss when you're older. And he's not going to let his nasty urges to make fun of people get in the way of his future. He's all about success, and he believes that one can never succeed if they tear down others to get there. And although he's seen this happen time and time again, he knows that people appreciate leaders who are honest and good. People who treat others how they themselves want to be treated.
And for Mythos, this philosophy has worked. He's only ever been teased by four kids in his life. And they quickly stopped once Mythos began ignoring them. That's another thing about Mythos, he's very stubborn. If he doesn't like something, then he blocks it out of his head. Because another philosophy of his is that ignorance is bliss. And although that may be true for a certain amount of time, it's never served him well for longer than a couple weeks. Whatever he's tried to ignore has always come back to bite him in the butt. But regardless of how many times it happens, Mythos refuses to let the bad things in his life interfere with the good things in it.
History:
When Mythos was little, his parents always treated him and his sister with the most love and affection any little kid could ever ask for. They could easily have been described as having it all. Their family wasn't poor, persay, but they were by no means rich. If one would have to classify their family's financial and living status, it would most accurately be lower middle class. So Mythos and his sister got most of the insignificant things they wanted. But when it came time for Mythos to ask for something he really, truly wanted, his parents would always have to tell him no, because it was too expensive.
Because of this, Mythos has always had this sort of hole in his personality. Not because his parents were mean, or he had a rough family life, it was because he had all he could want, except for the things that really mattered to him. He's doesn't always notice that it's there, but he what actually drives his passion to succeed in life is the desire to fill this hole. To finally, one day, be rich enough to buy whatever he wants. And not just the little trinkets, but the real things. Mythos has never really been keen on settling down and having kids. That's because they would take away from the life that he really wants. But he's always looked at that life as a sort of "Plan B" if his real plans don't work out.
In some place in Mythos' heart, he's always blamed his parents. He just has a small little place in his heart where he is always mad at them for being failures. That they couldn't pick themselves up off the ground and work harder to get more money. Maybe if they did that, just maybe, then Mythos' childhood would've been happier. Maybe it would've been something he looked back on fondly instead of looking back on it with bitterness and angst. And he knows that it's hard to get a job, and he knows how well his parents have treated him, but for some reason, he has just always blamed them. And it's slowly eating him away, because he always has to keep that smile on his face. He can't ever let anybody know how he actually feels. No, that would just ruin the image. Ruin his chance to succeed.
