Alright, so Nari's 13 yeah? Well he didn't get there by being open and friendly. He doesn't even expose himself enough to tell people what he wants, he lets his his sister do that for him. In fact, he doesn't even like to talk to people because he feels like it gives away some sign of how he really feels.

His two missing fingers are something he's never really pieced together himself but he feels like they're weird, different, unnatural, so it's a bit of a touchy subject.‏

In his head he thinks about ways he can be more even with the world - it takes two of his fingers but not a single one from his sister, it was like Ripred had flipped a coin and he had been the one decided upon. Not that he would wish this on his sister, he just didn't want it to be a fact about him.‏

But since it wasn't going to change any time soon he decided to embrace it, to make it a part of him just like chance had always been a part of his life.

And so, to mirror the treatment Ripred had given him, to implement the god's own methods, he has taken to carrying and old coin with him wherever he goes. It's stamped with the year of his birth, and it's his most prized possession. Even in dire times he could never bear to part with it.‏

It's his dice, it's his coin toss, it's his conscience.
