Sammy comes from a rich family in District 4 (shocker right). He has black hair, big brown eyes, palish skin, thin lips, and he has great eye sight, unlike his youngest brother. He is quite tall and quite muscular, but that isn't much of a surprise coming from a Career district. He isn't the tallest or the one made with the strongest build in District 4, but he could probably give any tributes that aren't from 1, 2, or 4 (like himself), a run for their money. He is quite strong and could lift up 50+ pounds with ease, even more if necessary. People call him handsome but he is quite modest about it, often saying that he's just a normal guy.
The one thing that Sammy dislikes about himself appearance wise is that he has this rather large birthmark on the back of his neck. Some people say that birthmarks represent how you died in a past life. He doesn't like how it looks and wishes that it could just disappear. He prefers to wear loose fitting clothes, similar to work out clothes, and the likes. He likes tank tops, short sleeved shirts, shorts, and sweat pants, because who doesn't like sweat pants. Since he has trained for most of his life, his legs are well toned and he is quite a fast runner, he also has brute raw strength as well.

Kind
Sammy is a kind person. He dislikes mean bullies; dislike isn't even a strong enough word for how much he despises them. He genuinely cares for other people and what they do. He just wants the best for everyone around him. The fact that he is so kind has made him a lot of friends and he is quite popular in school, but he's a little naive about his "friends." Some of his friends are actually true and loyal friends. However, some of them are the type of "friends" that take advantage of him. He can't tell the difference and it's kind of (hahaha) a flaw of his. He is too kind sometimes.
Funny
He is most definitely a jokester. He tries to make everybody happy, whenever he can, as he doesn't like people being sad. He believes that being kind and humorous has made him most of his friends. Being funny isn't just a thing to make friends for him though, it is also a way for him to stay positive, and not stress out about the things in life. However, once again, there is a small issue with being funny and humorous. Sometimes he's being funny at the wrong time (ex. a serious moment, like a pet died or something), and people think he's a little insensitive or rude.
Responsible
Sammy is a responsible individual. He cares about his schoolwork, just as much about training and staying in shape. He believes that the reason he is responsible is because he has two little brothers that he takes care of. If you're the older sibling, you're kind of forced to take responsibility and take care of the younger ones. He has quite a high self esteem because he is able to do a lot of things on his own. He enjoys being the primary cause of something and being credited for it. It can go the other way too. If you're responsible for something that's bad, you could be blamed for it. This doesn't happen to Sammy that much though.
History:
Sammy lives in the wealthy District 4 area of Panem, along with his two younger brothers, and his mother and father. His parents are both working, his dad is a fisherman, and his mother is a canner. From early on in his childhood, Sammy was always interested in what his parents did. He always loved the water and his father knew this, so he was the one that taught Sammy how to swim. That is basically all that he did during his childhood years. Whenever he had the chance to go swimming, he took it. Whether it was in a river, or an ocean, anything that was a large body of water, he enjoyed to be in.
His life wasn't all fun and games though. Sammy didn't realize it in the beginning but the constant swimming was training that his parents made him do. His parents also made him run errands for them, making him jog everywhere, as well as retrieve random objects that his brothers "got lost in a tree." Apparently to them, if you train and win the games, it'll be a huge honor (well no duh), but they also want him to become stronger because they want to brag about how their son is an amazing athletic person. They're kind of putting all their eggs in one basket here. The odds are that he won't get reaped and this will all be for nothing. He'll only be eligible for another couple of years... Do they actually expect him to volunteer?
Sammy goes to school as well, just like every other child and or teenager. The Capitol needs to brainwash the children's minds, and Sammy believes what they have to say completely. If you target the children at a young age, they'll believe you forever. He does fairly well in most of his classes, nothing special though. Once again, his parents contributed to this because "a healthy body leads to a healthy mind" or something like that. Some of his friends say that he needs to open up his eyes because the Capitol is a bad place, and he's tried to, but they haven't really done anything wrong to him directly yet. Indirectly yes, but not directly, and until then, he will be completely blind.
