Appearance:

Wade is a tall, dark brunette. His hair is always a little too long and uncombed, and despite being tall and dark haired he isn't traditionally handsome. Sharp and angular in everything, his blue eyes are in stark contrast to his natural pale colouring. Wade is 6'3 and underweight, with a crooked style of hunching over and coughing. The salty ocean air does nothing to ease his lungs, but leaves him flushed almost permanently, cheeks stinging with pink.

He also wears a smattering of dark stubble on his cheeks, and mostly dark muted colours in drab fabrics that smell like what he works with for a living- fish. His hands, being one of the tools he uses, are long and broad and blistered and scarred. Fish hooks and other fragments of metal have shredded the flesh of his far from soft pale fingers, running up and down his knuckles and crisscrossing his palms. He doesn't hide these scars because it is well known that fishermen get in similar accidents. His grisly hands surprise most out of district four at how quickly and efficiently they work, despite how little nimble they look.
 

Personality:

A smile from Wade is something you can see everyday if you by QS"> pay attention. He isn't one to start a conversation or introduce himself to others, but he is very watchful and a happy person in his natural temperament. He has a great sense of humor, but his shyness overpowers it. He also has a tremendous kindness towards others, but takes pleasure in not taking by QS"> credit for his acts of generosity. He is, in this way, somewhat deceitful and dishonest. 

Wade also is very introverted. He likes all kinds of people, but knowing them in person ruins the illusion he like to create about others. To be able to believe in goodness in others, especially in the arena or the by QS"> capitol, you have to be especially disillusioned and optimistic. 

Seeing only the good in others is something he does to survive. Then he imagines himself a kind of trickster and cleverly tries to play God. This has gotten Wade into a lot of trouble in Four, but he has learned to be stealthy and how to lie very well to entertain himself in the meantime. 

History:

Wade was born to a large family of fishermen, with many other brothers ahead of him. He is one of the youngest, and seems to disappear among his stronger elder brothers. He makes friends easily with his young siblings, but has never had very much of a role in his family, other than working at the docks like everyone else. Even that he manages to escape routinely.

His mother and father are very busy people who seem to only fish and bear children and watch the annual hunger games with trademark amusement and distaste. Wade is more of a rebellious spirit, but never would take action on it publicly. He has since he was little participated in watching the games, and has lost some people he has known to them, too. It doesn't really bother him too much because of the immensity of how many people die each year in such a short period of time. He doesn't pay much attention to the games at all.

When he was young he was taught early how to fish and gut what he caught, and had liked the amount of by QS"> Independence it had given him, but he lacks in discipline.
