Respect is one of the most important aspects of her life. Maddy always treats others the way she wants to be treated because she feels that's how life should be lived. She doesn't want to spend her life living in regret because of a dark past she's come from. Demons are locked inside her head screaming harsh realities at her, yet she fights against them with every thing she has inside. She prides herself in being strong, at least she wants to appear strong because on the inside she's broken and weak. Giving back to people is one way to make herself feel wanted and happy.

{history}
Maddy was born into a poor family, and was eventually adopted by the Truus family. Thus taking their last name. Ever since she was old enough, she's worked on the farm paying back her debt. Maddy prefers staying to herself messing with the animals locked within the barn. She waits for Turian and Aaron to go away, and she takes care of the animals. Brushing them. She takes care of the sick animals because she wants to be a veterinarian. She knows how to splint the broken bones of the animals as well as giving them herbal medicines when they're sick. She uses what knowledge she has of healing animals to help out those around her when they're in need. To her surprise it's not much different than mending a broken animal.
