Jace is a kind sturdy built young man. He has brown hair and eyes as green as the grass. He usually wears a light brown tunic and black pants along with black boots. He is almost always seen with his brown bow hitched on his back and quivers attatched to a strap that wraps around his body. He also always keeps a knife sheathed away on his right hip, for close-range combat only. He is very strong and is also very attractive but his shyness makes him all the more wantable. In all, Jace makes a fine young man.

Personality:

Jace is very likeable, being shy, humble, and yet fierce on the inside. His heart is set on hunting with his bow so most of the time he doesn't notice the girls going gaw-gaw over him. If you get to know him he is very nice and is also very helpful. But, being shy, he doesn't make friends very quickly although he could if he wanted to.

History:

Jace was born to a wealthy, compared to the other families, family in District 12. His father, being a miner, and his mother, being a shopkeeper. His mother owned a shop called the Thrifty Thread and there all the poor families bought most of their clothes. Whe he was 8 years old his older sibling, Jonathan, was 15 and had to go to the Hunger Games. He was immediatly killed in the first hour by a mace and his family mourned for many weeks. Jace, however, acted as if nothing had happened and went into the woods for the weeks while his family mourned. It was then that he learned to hunt with the bow he had gotten from his uncle when he was 6.

His uncle was a skilled warrior and was very likeable. He had mastered throwing knives when he was 13 and later became a great forger for the district. This was why he made his nephew a fine bow and Jace loved it.

Jace helped his family to remain a wealthy one by killing wild game, gathering plants, and water. He made a good living as a gatherer but always preferred hunting. Later, he was one of the few that wished to be chosen for the Hunger Games but also feared them ever since that dreadful day when he had lost his brother.
