Name:
Felicia Sterling
Age:
27
Gender:
Female
District/Area:
Capitol
Appearance:
(Nicki Minaj)
Unlike the majority of Capitol citizens, Felicia Sterling has largely remained uncorrupted by the many appearance altering treatments offered throughout the grand city, a fact she takes great pride in. With her darker skin tone, naturally black hair, and hazel colored eyes, she could almost pass for an adult from District Eleven or Twelve, though she claims to have lived her entire life in the Capitol.
Physically, Felicia is a standard, healthy adult female. Standing at five feet six inches and weighing 130 pounds, she is the perfect epitome of average. Overall, however, she dislikes her appearance, as her similarity to lower class citizens of the Districts is not something to take pride in. She dislikes her hair and eye color in particular, and she often attempts to change their natural dark tone by dying her hair a different vibrant color each month and often wearing various colored contact lenses (she refuses to change them permanently due to her innate dislike of the appearance altering treatments).
Personality:
The first word people usually use when describing Felicia is stubborn. She hates being on the wrong side of an argument, and often will argue a point until her sheer force of will is able to break the other person’s resolve. While this might seem as a great annoyance to many, it also has worked to her advantage at times, as her resolve has gotten her to tough out trials both Career-wise and personal-wise many times over.
Personality wise, Felicia is often likened to an igloo-cold and unbreaking on the exterior, but warm and cozy on the inside. She is a firm believer in the philosophy that emotions merely interfere with success, whether they’re so called “good” or “bad”. Outside of the work environment though, people have often been surprised to find that she is a rather friendly, warm hearted person.
An ambitious woman, Felicia has a strong drive to become as powerful as she can in the Capitol. Perhaps due to her dislike of distractions many Capitolites enjoy, or maybe in spite of that, she has been fairly successful with her ambition as well, using her stubbornness, talent, and strength of will to get a job position in the Gamemaking offices, albeit a fairly unimportant one as tech maintinence. Her ambition, however, is not satisfied by such a lowly position; the woman likely won’t be satisfied at all until she is one of the Gamemakers herself.
History:
The woman who would later become Felicia Sterling was born into a family of socialites as the fifth of seven children, with three older brothers, one older sister, and one younger brother and sister. Her parents rarely paid attention to their kids during their childhood, instead spending their lives mainly partying and applying whatever latest fashion trend to their clothes or bodies. Instead, Felicia and her siblings were raised by the local household staff, several of which turned into surrogate parents of sorts.
As a child, Felicia found her birth position rather frustrating. She wasn’t anything special, like her oldest brother or younger sister as eldest and youngest of the siblings, respectively. She couldn’t even claim the title of middle child like her other brother. Fifth out of seven was a powerless, worthless position, and as a result her she received little to no attention from her parents, as she was “nothing special.”
After the treatment continued well into her college years, Felicia decided she had had enough. Breaking ties with her entire family, she practically rewrote her history from scratch, changing her last name from her family’s to the much simpler Sterling, and began a personal campaign to become as powerful and well known as she possibly could. She started by studying law school in preparation to run for President one day, but quickly found that politics bored her. So, she settled for the next best thing, taking advantage of her stubborn nature and creativeness to join the ranks of the Gamemakers. As of now, she is still a long way off, but the young woman is still technically at the beginning of her life. Anything could change in the years to come.
Codeword:
Odair:
Other:
Even though she has the bio for a future Gamemaker, for now she is just an ordinary Capitol citizen with a fearsome ambition.
