-Opening-
It was a cold and snowy winter night in the inner streets of District 7. The streets, being covered in pounds of snow, were completely empty but for a few pieces of trash here and there. This was the time of the night when a shadow descended upon unsuspecting stores. It was especially easier for this so called shadow to descend upon stores on this particular night. This was the first bad snow storm District 7 had received this year and most of the residents had fled away to take shelter in their homes. The shadow? Who is it? Ah, of course, Damion Madera... the rascal that got beaten for stealing from the district market...
-Transition to Damion Madera-
Ah... It had to snow, didn't it. Well, at least no one's around to see me. The cold air pierced his lungs as he stomped his way through the dense frozen substance. He both hated and loved it when it snowed. Most could tell and agree why he hated the snow, but his love of it came from the fact that no one wondered the streets at night when the amount of snow got too large. That meant he could go along with his business without having to worry much. His boots left footprints in the snow, but were quickly being covered back up. This was one of those nights where families would cuddle up next to a fire and read a story, but not Damion. He had work to do... well, his secret night job, at least.
He neared his destination... the bakery. On a night like this, he would be able to sneak into the bakery building without anyone knowing and possibly warm food in the ovens. His original plan had been to steal from the general store, but when an opportunity like this arose, he quickly took advantage of it. I'll be sure to bring some back for my brother... It's been a while since we enjoyed time together... Ah! There it is. Now, there should be some kind of back entrance...
Damion carefully eyed the bakery and inspected it to make sure that no one was there. He didn't think anyone would be, but had to make sure. The building seemed deserted and the windows were covered in so much frost that it was impossible to see inside. There's another plus. If anyone so happens to wonder the streets, there's no way they could see inside the building. Damion looked up. That chimney could be a problem, though I doubt anyone could see it in this weather. Damion continued to inspect the building in order to make sure his plan was as good as it could be.
