Appearance
1 thing you should know about me is that I don’t like my name. It is dumb and ugly so I decide to go by Oak. Dark hair, hazel eyes with glasses, and sort of bushy brown eyebrows would describe me. I weight about 140 pounds and I am 5’ 0 in height. I wouldn’t technically call myself short, but if you would like to go ahead because I don’t care. My glasses cover most of my eyebrows which is great because my eyebrows are would I would call big and bushy. I hate them.
Call me overweight. Call me underweight. It doesn't matter to me because I don't base myself to weight, height, or looks. I see myself from my heart inside. So you can say that I'm short, fat, tall, skinny, cute, or ugly because I don't care about any of that dumb stuff. All I care about is my family, my survival, and my ugly no good eyebrows.
Personality:
I'm smart. Very smart. Highest in my class and I am very soon taking a test to get into a very good high school. Since I was a toddler I was always the smartest in my class until one year this new girl came and was "smarter" than me. I hated her guts and I still do. After that year I owed to be the smartest in my class.
Creativity is my thing. I remember once I made popsicle stick sleds for my class for Winter Solstice. I also made other things over the years like gingerbread houses, people, snowflakes, and even once a whole chandelier! After like two years my school decided to have an annual popsicle stick competition around Winter Solstice and we would all make things out of popsicle sticks. I won that competition every year since then.
I have a love/hate relationship with books. Its like sometimes I hate them when they are boring and dull and then other times I love them and nobody else does. Books are just complicated that way. They pull you into an exciting story and then they drop you right back down into a boring story again. This is why I try to stay away from reading but its like every year my dumb teacher has to make us read a novel and then I am done by the time the class is on chapter 5. I hate when that happens.
History
Back when I was born the wealthiness in District 4 was off the charts! District 4 was as wealthy as we could have been but District 1 and 2 had all the glory. I was only glad that I was alive and that I could eat my favorite food fish everyday. My dad was working in a fish shop at the time and my mother was working at a fishing inventory shop. It was the best, but I had to get a babysitter because they had the same hours of work.
I remember when I was like 5 or 6 and my pet fish died because my dad "accidentally" knocked its bowl over. It was a devastating time but I eventually got over it. Six weeks later. The next week we were supposed to have a show and tell thingy and I had nothing to show and or tell! Stressful times for that six year old boy I was 8 years ago. It really wasn't a big deal because I got a new fish 2 months later.
My life since then has been filled with adventure. I went fishing and the line tore my favorite pair of shorts. It was fun anyways though and I really didn't care. All I care is that it was a fun experience and I would love to do it again. I also remember when we went to my favorite restaurant for my birthday and just ate everything we wanted. My life story has been fun and I hope you think so too because I had fun writing to you.
