She was hungry. The sharp pains in stomach shot through her body until she was gasping for air and struggling not to bend over in pain. Groaning she stumbled to her feet, legs shaky as she moved onwards, wondering when the next chance would arise for her to eat properly.

Food was a rare commodity already, but when you were homeless, surviving off scraps, or stealing it was even more uncommon. Slinking amongst the bustling crowds of the district she eyed the stalls. The dirt beneath her feet was cold, but by now her feet had already grown numb to stoning sensation of pain. It made walking awkward, but years of practice beneath her made it bearable. With the days growing shorter, and the period of time where the sun was around to heat the ground, the shops didn't run for long. Winter was hard enough with the struggle to feed yourself, but when the shopping market begins to close earlier and earlier, and you haven't even begun to stock for the Winter?

She was behind her normal schedule. Growling, she shoved past an older gentleman, hungry eyes roaming for that stash of gold; for survival.

He hadn't been expecting the moment that he'd be shoved over after hearing a growl that almost seemed inhumane, though she definitely had one goal if it were something and from the looks of her it was definitely money. It was scary at first to see her eyes wide as she scattered across her body, looking for money; something that would be of use to her survival because it was damn near the end of hers. He had done his first instinct, which might be a really idiotic thing because it might show him off as weak and she could definitely try and barge off more from him. Grayson took the most amount of money in his pockets he could and shoved it into her hands, speaking quickly. "I have more if you want it, I really won't mind I swear." His words were almost jabbered, rushed as he fumbled around in his pockets for more. God, he was so stupid.

Her dark eyes narrowed as she froze, before turning around to stare at the man she had shoved. He had stopped, himself and it looked as though he was terrified of the sound she had made. A smirk stretched across her lips, as the fire in her eyes brightened. yes, she could work with this. The man had a familiar edge to his face, but she brushed past that memory as she pulled herself up o her full height. It wasn't entirely impressive, but better then nothing, at least. "Give me all you got." She spits, tone turning, to a growl that she used every time to she stole from others.

"If you don't give it all, I'll kill you."

"Give me all you got." She had spat out, causing him to contemplate the thought and shrugging slightly due to the fact that it shouldn't be that difficult to do.
"If you don't give it all, I'll kill you. He pulled out his pockets, getting the money from it and handing it to her and then searching through his coat pockets and emptying those. He found it simple enough. There wasn't much in that loss personally but there was a major gain for her. He liked it, in all of his personal respect due to the fact she probably had nothing compared to him; no, didn't have anything.

This was a fact that was obvious to him due to her skinny, frail body and how familiar she had seemed to the whole deal she was doing. He wouldn't mind. It wasn't the largest loss for him, he could always go home and get more for himself. Grayson was just satisfied with the thought of feeding her and causing her to live one more day at least.
