Corey leaned against the wall next to him quietly, staring at his friend almost blankly as he spoke about what his sister recently did to annoy his parents. Honestly, he had completely lost interest at the point where had to get him to stop joking around about Aileen, and kinda wanted to leave. Then again, he couldn't just well up and go, as much as he wanted to. That would be rude. Maybe he should just up and say he wanted to go? That way this wouldn't an issue. The sun was also getting quite irritating, the winter sun always tended to be that way, brighter but less heat. Almost as if the cold brought about a reflective property to the sky and the air around. Eh, at least it wasn't raining. 

Shifting in his spot and moving so it was now his back up against the wall instead of his shoulder Corey eventually broke his gaze from his slightly bigger, same height and he began to look around idly. Only giving the occasional response to try and prove he was listening even though he wasn't, and it wasn't long before his friend picked up on this as Corey was trying to look behind him at something else. 

"Are you listening?" The tone of the other's voice was dodgy and slightly angered as he glared at the brown haired boy, who responded with a quite distanced. "Yeah."

"No you're not." The boy's blue eyes trying to lock onto Corey's green ones and eventually doing so when Corey looked back at him. "Okay fine. I'm not." He stared blankly at his friend who seemed to just growl and shift a little. 

"So I've been talking for no reason?" 

"Yup" Corey remained almost emotionless in his gaze. Which made the boy talking to him almost yell out in anger. "Alright then, you come up with something as I'm not good enough to do it myself." 

The fourteen year old then shrugged, which caused the other to groan in frustration and nearly throw himself against the wall. Well it wasn't his fault he didn't want to be there any more. He wanted to go see if anyone else needed talking to but nope. He had to remain here to be polite.

Corinne Hiraeth

                Corinne sat with her legs pulled up against a wall, half people watching and half staring into the distance, lost in her thoughts. It had been a relatively peaceful day. She had not slept the night before and looked exhausted, however, she was yet to feel the effects. Perhaps it was because she was used to the feeling sleeplessness gave her. Every so often she would yawn, but hold her breath and force it into silence. She didn't want to make any noise. There was enough noise in her head, and risking missing something was not in her motives. 


                   A short time ago, a group of around five or six girls her age had come by and noticed her position. Young people often don't understand that there is more than one way to have fun, and accused Corinne of being a dull loner. Maybe in some ways - but not all of them. Corinne laughed at them and spoke to herself, saying, "Should I tell them what I think of them, or should I spare them the hurt?" The girls left, Corinne was starting to act a little creepy. Her face was completely dispassionate. Her eyes moved slowly to one side, scanning the area, then darted back to their originally place. She held onto a person, following them in her sight, made a judgement, and moved onto the next person.


                About ten meters away two boys stood, one talking zealously at the other, who looked completely disinterested. Corinne locked onto the boy talking, who was now starting to look irritated. She wondered what made him that way. He's so fat, if he ever fell in love he'd break it. Corinne cracked a brief smile, the people in her head were starting to pick on the boy. As the smile faded away and she returned to her usual countenance, the boy threw himself against a wall dramatically. This was getting interesting. For once, she felt like focusing for more than a minute or two. This chubby boy was a well of entertainment. Eventually, the chubby boy's friend broke away and began looking around. She wondered what he was going to do now that he had left the single most amusing person in the area.

Okay things were starting to get annoying. His friend was getting dramatic again and he hated when that happened. Normally it'd mean he'd go on about how he never listens and how nothing ever seems to hold his interest for very long so before he got the chance. Corey simply said "I gotta go." Then moved away.
Not too far though, in fact still within eyesight of the bigger boy who groaned but then walked off. Smirking a little Corey let the thought "Exit stage right." run through his head before he scanned around. However it wasn't long before his friend came back.

"Hey, seriously, when you say you're gonna--"

"Hey, Adam, I'm a tad busy." He said as his eyes caught onto a girl looking at his friend, his head tilted slightly to the right as his eyes ran themselves over her a few times. Well she looked lonely, was almost sad looking, he should approach. But Adam, persistent as ever continued as he looked where Corey was looking, not caring to see where he was exactly though then looked back. Anger taking over him a little.

"Okay if you don't want to talk just say so god damn!" The skinnier boy then smirked silently and said "So God damn it." Which made the other stall. Then think before stating. "Oh you're so clever." To which Corey again simply replied with "Thanks."

Getting more and more annoyed at Corey the boy eventually just turn around and left, walking past the girl Corey was looking at... Or more staring at. When he realised he was doing this though he coughed and looked away before walking over, standing in front of the sitting girl and looking down at her. Trying to maintain a friendly face.

"Hey, noticed you looking at Adam, anything I can help you with about him?"

Wait what? Corey thought about what he said before he just decided to go with it. Well, he needed some reason to approach an absolute stranger and see if they were okay... Okay he didn't, but this one seemed passable... Kinda.
