Appearance: Panetta is a thin, tall preteen with long, lean legs. Her eyes are a dull green and her thin hair is a deep dark brown color. Panetta's hands are large and clumsy, making it difficult for her to decorate cakes and sweets. She is quick and agile thanks to her long legs, so if she was in the Games she could run away or climb a tree with ease. Her lack of muscle and strength makes her weak in a fight, but it means less bulkiness to slow her down.
Panetta's skin is a deep chocolate color. She is fairly athletic and can be seen as boyish and standoffish. It takes time for her to make a friend, as she isn't very trusting thanks to her cruel uncle. Panetta is admired by some, but laughed at by many for her clutziness. She certainly isn't the girly-girl you'd expect her to be thanks to her name. She has a few scars on her arms and a small scar above her right eyebrow from a few fights she's been in. Panetta also has a large scar along her waist from a whipping from her uncle. Her preferred clothing is a white or brown t-shirt, a leather jacket, and some ripped skinny jeans. She never wears any shoes.
Personality: As said before, she is very boyish and standoffish, making it difficult to be her friend. Panetta is certainly untrusting, and would love to see the Capitol fall. But hidden underneath that tough exterior is a sad, lonely, depressed young girl who has a large hole in her heart she just can't fill.
Panetta is a rough-and-tumble girl who isn't afraid to defy the Peacekeepers in small ways. She is a rebellious scamp who enjoys racing along the dirt paths of District 9 in her small amounts of free time. She is a trickster by heart and enjoys playing pranks on unsuspecting people.
She has never enjoyed reading, and tries as hard as possible to skip school whenever she can. Secretly, Panetta loves stargazing, and knows every constellation by heart thanks to her parents. She absolutely loathes the taste of cake, which is strange since she is in District 9. She is allergic to dogs, and hates them with all her heart.
History: At the age of 8, she attempted to bake a cake for her mother's birthday and set the house on fire, accidentally killing both her parents in the fire. Since then she has lived with her Uncle Pan, who loathes her and will use any excuse to make her suffer.
Before the fire, Panetta enjoyed her humble life. Her parents taught her the constellations, and she excelled in math. She loved her parents with all her heart, which led her to attempting to bake a cake on her own. She blames herself for her parents' death and so does her uncle, who loved his sister dearly.
Because of the terrible experience, Panetta lost her social skills, even locking herself in her room for nearly three weeks. Since then she has been untrusting, standoffish, and can even be a bully at times.
