Appearance:

Caitir’s blonde hair tumbles down past her shoulders in waves, and her eyes are a light blue color. She’s seen as rather attractive by others, but not by herself. At this point in her life, she has developed an issue with her right foot that will often cause her to have to limp when she walks. Luckily, she can still run, though it will cause her pain when she does. As well as these things, Caitir also has a few scars on her left arm from scratches that went a bit too deep, and a somewhat large scar on her back as well.

When someone sees Caitir, they can often see that she is of average height, standing at five feet and five inches tall. People will also sometimes comment that she looks older than she really is. Though, this is likely not only due to her physical appearance, but also to the mature way she acts and the way that she dresses, which can be seen as rather nice. When her family is able to get their hands on it, Caitir will occasionally wear makeup as well. Though, this is not very often, as it is an expensive thing for themt o get a hold of in District Eight.

Personality:

Seen as having rather bad anger issues, many people view Caitir as someone who can be a bit sensitive. When someone upsets her, she will often snap, yelling at them after she hits a rather low breaking point. Caitir has also had severe anxiety throughout her life, and it first started to be noticeable when she was around thirteen years old. She would be quick to panic in situations, and would also be worried by things that other people may not find bothersome.

School is something that would often cause Caitir to have panic attacks. Sometimes this would cause her to shake physically, panic, or sometimes have a complete breakdown. This is something that has always been difficult for her to deal with, and some people do not understand what’s going on when these things happen to her, even if she tries to explain it to them. Due to this being something that not many people understand as well as Caitir would like them to, she often ends up going to her family for whatever help she can get with the situations that occur.

Caitir, however, does have a rather positive side to her personality. She loves to be social with people, and is always trying her best to make friends when she can. If someone starts a conversation with her, no matter who is it, she is always glad to talk. She isn’t good with talking in groups, however, and certainly gets rather nervous when she has to talk in front of people that are in a large group, like presenting a project in school. Sometimes Caitir gets a bit too talkative with those she knows well, and some people have to tell her to slow down or take a break for a minute, because it may be hard for them to keep up, or they simply think she is getting annoying with how much she is talking.

History:

Born to Alan and Grace Bowman, Caitir has grown up as an only child. She was always treated well by her family, but she was often bullied by other people her age because of her personality or anxiety. At home, her life was always rather good. She was very open and honest with her family, and they would act the same with her. When she is with the few friends that she has, she often enjoys just chatting with them, or playing games of some sort. Some of her hobbies include reading, writing, or just sitting around by herself, thinking. She also loves to sew, and has the opportunity to do so quite often in District Eight.

In a period of her life, Caitir had a major struggle with her anxiety. This started when she was thirteen years old, and she began to not even be able to go to school without feeling like she was going to completely break down. One day, she was found missing school due to her anxiety, and was whipped by a Peacekeeper, resulting in the large scar that is now on her back. Caitir has forced herself to go to school since then; however, it has still been a great struggle for her not to have a panic attack when doing so, due to the social environment and the pressure it sometimes causes her when she is doing her work. Luckily, she has managed to make some friends in school that understand what she is going through. Some of them may have even gone through similar anxiety issues themselves.

The Bowmans always lived a rather peaceful life with little to no family issues. Caitir, however, has had issues with many of her friends rather recently due to her anger issues getting the better of her. She ended up giving on person a concussion with a punch that she delivered, and definitely losing them as a friend. She also yelled at someone and swore, calling them a harsh name. Things certainly did not go over well there. She has been trying to control herself better, but hasn’t always been doing the best job. She has been, however, do a better job of keeping her friends since those two incidents, because of knowing that her actions can lose her friends.
