Andesite Obsidian 390 Words OOC: Thread with troylus as Flynn | The thought of going into the games was all that the young career tribute could possibly think about after he had been called in the reaping. He was escorted to the Justice Building, and he was to await the arrival of any 'friends and family' who were going to be visiting him. He assumed at this point that it would likely only be Flynn. Flynn could be considered his caretaker, though in all honesty, Andy didn't think that Flynn really 'cared' all that much. He was abusive to some of the other children that lived with them, and tended to send them out to do things that weren't exactly legal, like pick-pocketing and full out thievery. What came to Andy's mind when he thought about what Flynn might say to him was that he had to win. Andy assumed that if he didn't win, not only would he be dead, but something might happen to those he cared about. Then again, at this point in his life, there weren't all too many people that Andy honestly cared about, having been separated from his family very young to the point where he didn't even remember them. It would have to be other members of the 'gang' if anyone at all, that he would consider people he cared about. Andy sat on a couch that was in the Justice Building room that he had been brought to. The room seemed oddly comforting. That was likely what the Peacekeepers and everyone else running the games likely wanted, though. They most likely wanted the tributes who were reluctant to go, to think of it as a luxury. Though, Andy already thought of this as a luxury. His entire life, he had wanted to be in the Hunger Games, and for once, he was going to get to achieve that dream. As Andy was lost in his thoughts, he was soon interrupted by a knock at the door. Someone was there, and ready to come in. Was it Flynn, Andy wondered. Most likely, he assumed. He sat patiently, waiting for the door to open. What was Flynn, the man so cruel yet the man Andy wanted to impress, going to say to him, if it were him at the door? This didn't worry Andy all too much, though. The boy simply waited, and hoped for the best. |
