Appearance: Ruby is tall, 5'10, and weighs 145 pounds. She has firm D cup breasts, a small waist, and long slender legs. She has a roundish nose, naturally pink lips. She has long black hair, and eyes so Brown they're black. She also has freckles. Everywhere. They contrast against her pale skin, but make her, if possible, prettier. She's gorgeous.
Along her spine and around her waist she has a large tattoo of a dragon. (the wingless kind). She has a tattoo of a hawk on her neck, only about two inches wide.
Her scars usually don't last long, but she has a couple that have lasted for a long time. As allowed to most people, her scars are darker than her skin, by like a while shade. They look like her freckles, in regards to color. She doesn't really know why. She's got a few self inflicted scars, those have lasted the longest. She doesn't ever let anyone see them.
Personality: She's not mean, but she's manipulative. She uses charm and sex appeal to her advantage. She dresses in a way that shows off her body well. She doesn't like to do dirty work, or any work. She convinces others to do it for her.
She's even resorted to sleeping with men for what she wanted, although she never feels sexual or romantic attractions herself. She's not particularly loyal, and makes friends easily, just to use them. Growing up a carreer, she's not shy of blood. Her long legs carry her extremely fast, and she's flexible and athletic.
She has really poor hearing and no sense of smell, but hawk like eyes and a strong sense of touch. She can feel vibrations from walking and such. She's afraid of confined spaces and her favorite places are up as high as possible.
She often prefers her own company, just because communication is hard outside of her family, who learned sign language.
Despite her lack of hearing, though, she loves music. She listens to music with a strong bass that she can feel. She likes to pretend that nothing is wrong with her when she listens to it. She distrust everyone, but men especially. She feels as of men use women for sex, and doesn't make friends with them. She also avoids being out at night, or around men in general. She knows men lust over her, and she likes infighting fights between them.
History: She's been training since she could walk. Despite a sickness as a child that took most of her hearing, she rarely misses a beat. She knows sign language to communicate with her family. She was born without a sense of smell. Her family was afraid these disabilities would impare her. But she trained harder than anyone else she knew and surpassed them. But her lack of hearing makes her self consious.
She was born to parents Diamond and Crave Silk. They were some of the most wealthy in district 1. She never went without anything, but also trained herself to conserve in case she was ever reaped. She often sits on the roof of her house to find peace.
When she was 14, people started realizing how gorgeous she was. She had always been pretty, but puberty had pushed her into another realm of beauty. She had never gotten her period, and doctors found that she was incapable of bearing children. But her breasts had grown, and by the time she was almost 15, she had C cups. The year she turned 15, was also the year she drew her first blood.
She was walking home, when a man approached her. He'd called her pretty and gotten to close for her comfort. He'd grabbed her wrists so hard she'd cried out, and tried to force her to the ground. He'd forced himself into her, but in the end, He'd would up with a broken neck. She had vowed never to let anyone take advantage of her ever again, and to use her beauty as a weapon instead of an accessory.
