loodstains frost the taunting edge of my weapon that has grazed across two different sets of skin. Except that canons seized from rupturing during my escape from the chaos. Little damage was delivered, and there’s no swallowing the shame that intertwines with the fact. Tomorrow must pertain better results. Nimble steps rapidly engrave across the engulfing lands that are attempting to impair my distance. The biome conducted by the Game Makers’ is unforgiving. There’s evidently no desire to outstretch their Show as it has been in the past. But at this very instance, preparation is required before I can further my attacks. What resides beneath my path is a filthy mystery. All I can concentrate upon is the noises that may be proceeding on my lengthy exit. Lively nature only echoes slightly, as if survival is deteriorating in this foreign environment. Most importantly though, followers fail to breach on any of my senses. Combat is brewing for the viewers, but I am determined to maintain the advantage. Lanky blades of grass impact on my venture and rebounds in its rightful place behind me, providing no trail to my future destination. This Life chancing game will be played with only intelligent moves on my end.
My track steadies with the thick clouds that roof over me. Of course a deathless introduction would spark a continuation for more interest. Is the atmosphere going to strive as the new threat as it’s already exhibiting? Or perhaps they’re also craving to already regroup some enemies. My travel refuses to halt completely though, a pristine illustration of the endurance I attain. Competitors will be sought after during my preference.
A handful of mud gets scooped among my route, with little break upon my sinking footprints. There’s no neglecting the first memory of Edyn smudging my face with the arts of war. How ironic that a layer of dirt can represent such an honor. This cloak marked the approval of being a respected warrior though. The displeasing texture paints against my nose, across my eyelids, and towards both sides of my hairline. The Capitol may have claimed control over my existence, but I will always belong to my People in seven…and to Rayne.
The jolt of authority the Capitol has brutally inclines through my interior. As intently as I clench my jaw, a powerful gasp of dismay rumbles between my lips. My right shoulder becomes overwhelmed with agony, as it’s surface broils in response. “If you didn’t like the battle paint, you could have just said so.” I harshly mumble, while finally accepting the recess that’s now being insisted.
Exactly three canons fracture the silence. “Shit,” seeps from my pained voice, my goal shifting without a thought. Injuries cannot be obtained this early. A foe will not be encountered while in this condition. Urgently I begin searching through the plants sprinkling the flooded weeds, internally pleading this withering field has something valuable to offer. And to my luck, the Capitol’s training proves use as I recognize the botany taught to me. A favorable forthcoming may still be with me.
The terrain is captured once again as I further my travel in slightly better quality. Concentration is keen as Rayne refuses to embark on my vigorous heart. Certainly focus must refrain from wandering out of this Arena, but the lack of even mental company is already becoming isolating. Somehow I will brave this desolation for as long as I must.
