Kieran stands at a tall 6 feet, weighing in at around 170 pounds. He's about half a foot taller than his father, and according to his dad (on days when he actually feels like talking), he is quite taller than his late mom. Although he has quite handsome features, most notably his green eyes (often mistaken for blue or hazel eyes), he chooses to hide them, often leading to others thinking he's extremely introverted. Other notable things about his face is his smile. He has extremely straight teeth and a smile that could brighten up any room, but you rarely ever get the chance to see it. He also has a very athletic build, but his left arm is strangely weaker than his right. Whenever he attempts to get answers from those close to him about why, they always completely avoid the question. There are many questions he has that don't seem to ever get answered. Aren't those close to you supposed to help you with any uncertainties you can?
If you were to describe Kieran in 5 words, he would be a mischievous, confusing, quiet, secretive, and strong. Due to his less than normal childhood and teenage years, he learned that being quiet and keeping secrets was a good thing. Some people needed to know some things, and some people were better off being ignorant. People were often confused about how he acted because on some days he was quite quiet, but on other days he would be a troll with everyone around him. The word strong could be used in two ways to describe Kieran. He is strong physically due to his athleticism as everyone needs to be at least somewhat fit in District 13, but he is also strong because of his internal conflict inside. It is true that not everyone has the perfect picturesque life, but Kieran had to struggle more than most without really knowing (until recently) that his life was worse than most. He thought that what he had was normal. Aren't parents supposed to love their child unconditionally?
Kieran was born in District 13 to a very indifferent mother and father. They did not plan to have any kids, but he happened, so they had to deal with him. By dealing with him, they greatly struggled to just tolerate him. In life, there are some people that are meant to have children and some that shouldn't. His mom died when he was 4 and he was left with a father that did not care enough to teach him any useful skills. Kieran had to teach everything he knows now himself. While he was growing up, his father let him do whatever he wanted and that left him rebellious to authority. On the outside, he seems to be like any other normal young adult, it seems like he knows what to do with his life (due to his strong skills with technology), but on the inside he's quite confused. The one thing he knows for sure is that the Capitol is a bad place because that is what everyone around him tells him. Aren't lives supposed to be just more than living?
