PLOT & THE DELACROIXS'S BACKSTORY.
The Delacroix family originated on the other site of District Nine from where they are now. They were born into a religious cult called the Church of the Castiels. Their beliefs were perhaps inspired by Christianity, but it had been twisted into something much darker. The cult participated in blood-letting and sacrifice, specifically one, called the Cleansing, in which every seven years the church would sacrifice an innocent to cleanse everyone in the cult of their sins. Calypso Delacroix, the founder and leader of the gang, was fifteen when she was chosen for the sacrifice. After a bloody incident in which Calypso had to defend herself and went too far, the Delacroix family had to leave to save Calypso from the sacrifice and for being charged.
Their father, Johnathan, had walked out on them years ago, but they still had contact with him due to his undying devotion to the cult. However, when the Delacroixs left, they left him behind. None of them ever saw Johnathan again. (And perhaps it was good riddance.) Most of the Delacroixs disliked their father, as he was known for cheating on their mother numerous times, resulting in a multitude of half-siblings.
After leaving, the Delacroixs were even poorer than before and most of them were left starving. Calypso blamed herself and decided that her mother's job in the factory wasn't enough, and went out on her own to find work. She had a friend in school who was part of a small gang, and from there she got involved in the business and learned how to make money that way. Once she had enough power and influence, she started her own gang with her sisters and recruited more members over time. Since then, the Delacroix gang has only flourished, growing more and more powerful.
They call themselves the Wolf Pack, a name that has become a familiar one in the dark alleys of Nine. The gang is known for their aggression, but also their devotion and love for each other, something that seems to set them apart from other groups in the district. These sisters live by a code that binds them and the gang itself together, but breaking it has harsh consequences.
Recently, the cult has become no more. It was not well known throughout the district, as they kept to themselves and resided in a more secluded area, but the Delacroixs noticed their absence. Years ago, all they were was a whisper, but now they are nothing more than a memory. The church was burned to the ground in a mysterious fire four years after the Delacroixs fled, killing over half of the cultists, including the Delacroixs's father. Few if any Delacroixs mourned his death, but it certainly struck a nerve.
With the fire and the new addition of one of their own's death, Percy Delacroix, tensions have risen in the Wolf Pack. Calypso, in order to show their rivals that they are not weakened by Percy's death, is now vying for more power and more members, even going to the extent of hunting down her other half-siblings.
GANG POSITIONS/RANKS.
The leader. Currently, Calypso Delacroix leads the Wolf Pack. The leader's job is to maintain order, enforce the code, plan assaults and heists, and coordinate the distributions of the gang's products on the black market. Usually, they are the oldest and/or have the most experience and are the strongest.
The right hand. Second in command to the leader. This position is filled by Alcyone Delacroix, an original sister of the gang. The right hand assists the leader in most of their jobs if needed, though they typically do not help enforce the code, only inform the leader if it is broken. If the leader dies or steps down, the right hand will become leader. If they deny the position, they have the power to appoint a new leader with the consent of the rest of the gang.
Sisters. The rest of the gang members. They have various different jobs, such as selling goods on the black market, paying off Peacekeepers (in more than one way), ect. There are two types of sisters: original and recruited.Original sisters. An original sister is a full sibling or a half-sibling to the leader, Calypso Delacroix.Recruited sisters. Gang members who have no blood relation to Calypso Delacroix, however are treated as if they do. When a someone with no relation to the Delacroixs joins the gang, they must swear that the gang is more their family than their blood relatives.
THE CODE.
I. The Code shall not be broken.
II. Sisters over blood.
III. Silence will be forever held.
IV. Betrayal is the path to misery.
V. To steal from your sisters is to commit treason against them.
VI. Black market sales as an independent business is forbidden.
VII. Males cannot be invited into the ranks of the Wolf Pack.
VIII. Kill only if you must.
The Code deciphered:
I. Don't break the Code.
II. Value your fellow gang members over your blood relatives- they become your family.
III. Do not talk about the gang with someone who is not involved in it.
IV. Don't betray the gang. Just don't do it.
V. Don't steal from the gang- money, drugs, ect.
VI. Do not sell items on the black market and keep the money to yourself. All money from selling/distributing items goes to the gang and then is split among its members.
VII. No boys allowed!
VIII. Only kill if you have to; don't kill in cold blood.
GANG MEMBERS; ORIGINAL SISTERS.
It seems that she cannot win, no matter how hard she tries. She has had many things stolen from her, but now her little sister has been taken away, and it has left her empty. After everything she had been through with the church, starvation, Xanthe's kidnapping, and Hannah O'Leary and their strange, unnerving resemblance, she thought she had found peace. Calypso had finally settled down with a young man named Abraxas Morrigan, and everything in the gang was strangely calm. But now everything stands in ruins, and she is more desperate than ever to fill the hole in her chest and prevent herself from looking weakened. She has taken it upon herself to recruit new members and find the half-siblings her cheating father left behind.
Alcyone is probably the one who endured the most pain and punishment in the cult. It is what has fueled her deep, undying hatred for them and her father. And perhaps that, in the end, is what shaped her into who she is- strong, powerful, but also harsh and often cold. She was chosen as the right hand not only because she is the second oldest in the Wolf Pack, but also Calypso recognizes her strength as well as her loyalty to the gang and trusts her to conquer at her side.
She is likely more innocent than the youngest members of the Wolf Pack. Siren Delacroix definitely stands out among the other members, as she keeps to her own ways rather than the gang's. Though Siren follows the Code, she prefers to stand on her own principles and often will not go to some of the lengths the others in the gang will. She is not the type to pull out her gun in an instant, nor is she quick to lose her temper. However, when Siren's composure does break, it breaks hard, and she strikes without mercy.
Despite her young age, she is certainly not afraid of bloodshed. Eos is young but ruthless and possibly one of the most vicious in the gang, one of Calypso's most successful trainees. Although she has a taste for blood and violence, Eos is loyal to her family but shares an especially strong bond with Calypso, who she greatly looks up to as a role model.
She was once sheltered and ignorant of not only what was going on with her sisters, but everything. She did not see darkness nor hatred nor evil, until about two years ago when her eyes finally opened. Calypso had wanted to preserve her innocence and keep her away from the gang, but when Skully started to become exposed to how cold the world really is and showed potential, she decided to train her. Skully began training at thirteen and since then has become a fierce warrior, though she still maintains enough of her innocence to be seen as one of the kindest and purest in the Wolf Pack.

Lora Delacroix is arguably one of the most loyal members of the Wolf Pack. She follows orders without question and never seems to raise an argument or any sentiment of trouble. Lora looks up to Calypso, but she feels that she is standing in her shadow all the time, part of the reason why she keeps her lips sealed. In her training, Lora has grown into a strong young girl with power at her fingertips, power which Calypso believes will only grow as she finds her voice and herself.
GANG MEMBERS; RECRUITED SISTERS
She was born to be Delacroix. Ithaca Fei is a girl of steel and might, traits that make her fit perfectly in the Wolf Pack, despite not being a blood relative of the Delacroixs. She is favored by Calypso for her boldness and strength, and some time ago, for her looks as well. Ithaca is the perfect example of a recruited sister- she has been adopted into the family as one of their own, swearing away her blood relatives and fully devoting herself to the Delacroixs. She has even grown very protective of her newfound family, mothering them more than Calypso ever has. She is a sister now, and a sister she will always be.

NON-GANG MEMBER DELACROIXS.

Helios is not like the rest of his family. For one, he is the only male full sibling, and secondly, he still believes in the cult religion. He is a kind boy who seems to have stayed a child, with his pure heart and mindless following of the religion. Because of this, the other Delacroixs tend to look down on Helios, but he doesn't let that stop him from practicing his beliefs. He has even found a new church to worship in, something that has stirred tension between him and his sisters.
She never had the heart to be a part of the gang. In the beginning, the possibility had been offered to Xanthe, but she knew she couldn't do it and turned it down, much to her older sister's dismay. Xanthe and Calypso have drifted apart since then, their bond worn and frayed, but they still share a sisterly love for each other, one that became stronger after Xanthe was kidnapped by a rival gang. Because Xanthe is not part of the gang, she is more distant from her sisters, though she and Calypso will always have a strange, almost love-hate bond.

She'd grown up in an adopted family, not knowing the identity of her birth father and not receiving the acknowledgement of her birth mother. Though she had loved her adoptive family like they were her own flesh and blood, she had never quite felt like she fit in. So when Calypso Delacroix had approached her, revealing the secret of her father's lineage and presenting an offer to join her gang, Natasha had eagerly accepted. Though she's only been a part of the Wolf Pack for a matter of months, she already feels more at home among her new sisters than she ever did with her previous families. Though her hot-headed behavior often leads to her butting heads with her sisters on occasion, her she is a fiercely loyal member of the Pack.
