Crystal is short and thin. She is physically fit because she spends a lot of time working out. Her hair is platinum blonde, and her skin is pale. Her eyes are blue. She bites her nails when she's nervous, so there's pretty much nothing left of them.

Personality:

Crystal was always a friendly girl. She tries to get along with everyone. Her attitude toward the Hunger Games seems to contradict this; she enjoys watching it and has always dreamed of going. She simply assumes that the citizens of the lower districts are inferior and don't deserve to live.

Crystal is also very determined and hardworking. After her older sister's death in the Hunger Games, Crystal decided to train harder so that if she ended up going to the Games, she would have a chance. She is now in much better shape.

History:

Crystal's mother had a friend who died in the Hunger Games when they were children. She didn't want Crystal and her older sister Ruby to train as Careers, but her father insisted on it. From a very young age, Crystal was taught to murder other children.

When Crystal was 12 years old and her sister was 16, the headstrong Ruby volunteered as a tribute. Crystal was delighted at the thought that the two of them would both be Hunger Games champions, but Ruby didn't even make it past the bloodbath. Crystal resolved at that point to get in shape so that if she went to the Hunger Games, she would have a chance.

Four years have gone by, and Crystal still hasn't gone to the Games. She isn't always sure if she really wants to, or if it's something that she only pretends to want because it's what's expected of her.
