[Day 5] Wrestling Bronze Match

WRESTLING: BRONZE MATCH

Welcome to the Wrestling event of the third Panem Olympic Games! The wrestling mats are located within the Olympic Arena, with stands for spectators traveling from Districts One, Two, Four, and the Capitol to watch the competitors. Television cameras are set up around as well, to broadcast the event to anyone staying home as well as to the other districts who aren't as lucky and competent as you all! Please be sure you stretch and warm up with your coaches before you're called to the starting block, and remember, make your district proud!

The wrestling event is a tournament, which follows a bracket. Each match will occur on this thread. Feel free to roleplay your character grappling with their opponent and then paste the code [*roll range="1-15"] without the asterisk into your post and roll, as you would with a Hunger Games die. This number is used to determine the winner of each match.

The competitor who scores higher than their opponent moves on to the next round, which will be posted on a new thread. As the wrestlers post, the winners and scores will be recorded here; when all the first round matches have been completed, the bracket will be updated and the next round will start.

There is NO POSTING ORDER; you may post whenever you please. Keep in mind that this event must be wrapped up by the end of the Olympics Day.

This is for a bronze. It's not a gold, but I'll take it because it's something. Something to show that my efforts have proven worthy. But it's not good enough. I should have all the gold medals from the Olympics, yet I failed. I've failed to do what I set out to do. At least I've made my name known. I take a deep breath before making my way over to the wrestling mat. Just this opponent to go through, and I'll have a medal around my neck. It'll be worth it in the end. A cocky grin twists across my face as I turn from my opponent to the crowd around. I've failed once, and I won't do it again. I refuse. So when it's time to fight, I go out with all that I have. It's truly a now or never moment.
