Physical appearance:
Kyra is tall for her age, at about 5'5.
She is thin and strong from all of her work as an Avox, and the lack of food that comes with it, (Although she was always fairly thin and athletic).
She is pale skin, free of zits or freckles, and has long dark brown hair with a very small amount of waviness to it that reaches halfway down her back.
Her eyes are an Irish blue-grey, and long lashed.
Kyra has small, cute features, and one can tell that she will grow into a lovely young woman.
Clothing: Kyra is almost always wearing her white Avox outfit that consists of a spotless pair of long white pants and an equally spotless white long-sleeved shirt with a capitol A sown into the front, and white slip on shoes.
She normally has her hair in a ponytail on top of her head, or braided if she is cooking for her master.

Personality:

Kyra is a sweet and shy girl, quite even before she was an Avox, but very passionate about things.
She is loving and friendly, although sometimes falls into depression now that she is an Avox.
She is loyal to the end when it comes to people she cares about, or owes.
Although not often very funny, Kyra greatly enjoys being around those with good since of humor.
She can be frightening if moved to anger, with a silent, deadly kind of anger.
She tends to be passive, so getting her mad is hard to do, but very regrettable if achieved.
She has a passion for music and singing, the latter of which she still does sometimes, though wordlessly now.
She can speak fluently in sign language, and is practiced in getting her point across to those who don't know signs through gestures and facial expressions.
Kyra finds it very amusing when people can't understand her, unless in a high stress situation.
She has a strong hate for the Capitol, the President and his family, the Games, and those who own Avoxes. (An exception being her own master, who is kind in comparison to most others, and while stupid and very naive in Kyra's opinion, hard to dislike.
Kyra's biggest fault is indecision. Sometimes in high-stress situations she will freeze up for a few seconds.
She is VERY protective of her friends and family, even though she has no power to protect them now. This fault is what got her turned into an Avox.

History:

Kyra has three siblings and a mother and father. (All are still living.)
She has an older sister, and two little brothers. They were a happy, fairly normal family, although a little more disliking of the Capitol and it's ways then most.
Kyra and her sister Marissa always had a strong bond, although they fought quite as much as any other sisters.
The two of them worked at a restaurant where Marisa and Kyra waited tables and sang.
One day the president's son, (who is quite well known to be a playboy,) came in there drunk and went after Marisa.
Kyra lost her cool and went after him with a lamp to defend her sister, smashing it over his head and knocking him out.
Needless to say the results were dreadful. Kyra's parents had to plead temporary insanity on her part and dissolve all connections with her, from disowning her to burning all her previous possessions, just to keep themselves and the rest of their children from being turned into Avoxes.
It was a horribly painful experience for both her and her family, and Kyra, charged with rebellion, was turned into an Avox.
Shortly after becoming an Avox she was contacted by a member of a small rebel alliance asking her to spy for them and pass on the information she got to him.
Naturally, with her tremendous loathing of the Capitol, she was glad to have some way to fight back, even when she, from the Capitol's point of view, was as helpless and shamed as a person could be.
She has learned many skills from being an Avox, from simple things like excellent cooking and cleaning, to creeping, almost disappearing when being sought after, and dodging hurled objects quite well, (all courtesy of the head cook, Angie, of whom Kyra is quite fond), to being able to remember and repeat every thing said to her, or in her presence, (a skill quickly learned by al Avoxes), how to run extremely fast, and how to pace herself and keep going for days without real rest.
She has also learned things from her rebel friends, such as how to use a gun quite expertly, how to pick or crack locks, and how to hotwire a car.
She is currently the Avox of a single, middle aged, wealthy woman high in Capitol circles.
She secretly sends any and all information she hears to the rebel alliance every chance she gets.
