I watched as the ravens rained down from the darkened sky. I watched as the wraiths of war reaped havoc upon already blood stained chaos. I watched light flicked and fade beneath reeving shadows. I watched as the hands of death tore away my sister's soul. The monstrosities of the Seventy Third Hunger Games did not leave even a simplistic spark of spirit within the irises of Bailey. Tortured and terrorized she was beaten like a beast into a corner as the scarlet streams spilled from her skin. Screams belted from broken bodies before they broke too much to bare life any longer. Then the screams were within the room with me as my family fell to the floor. Bailey's back held in place another's sword while her canon pierced the devil's realm. Tears trickled from my eyes but not a sound escaped my lips, it never did after all. Yet my pen wrote down it all.
